FYI theres also a collectors edition that comes with the DVD's minus the helmet and it's around 80 so how is that plastic helmet 50 bucks? also you can't even put the helmet on so how is it a replica.

What is MS thinking 129 for a game? it's funny cause they give you all these "Bonuses" but your paying for them..... why not just sell the Helmet Solo? I just don't understand what your problem is, 3 different versions to buy, if people want to pay 130, let them. its none of your business. I would never buy it, but I know my friend is, he works, its his money and he loves to collect stuff like that, You and I have absolutely no right to tell him or anyone else that they shouldn't. just worry about yourself and don't be another jack thompson and try to help or defend people who don't want or need it.

The worth of these various "bonuses" to the PS3 and H3Legendary owners is subjective. My point was that you're complaining about being forced to buy all these other things along with the legendary edition.

Overall, IMHO 'special' edition releases are a waste of money. I've only ever bought one, and that was for Oblivion, and I only bought that because it had a nice bound handbook on the history of Tamriel and a neat coin that I had made into a pendant.

However, if the helmet was big enough so I could wear it, then I would consider the legendary edition, if just for the geek cred and Halloween.

i don't have a PS3 why do people assume just cause you bash a prduct you have the other consoles can't opinions come from unbiased people? ok guys go and buy all the supplies for this legendary edition. then for Halo 4 expect MS to make a 200 legendary edition. Keep giving them fuel and they will keep burning you. I won't buy it but MS shouldn't even bring something like this out. there selling you something that cost 50 bucks to make for 129. those extra do not cost no 70 dollars extra bu MS doesn't care it's fans are lemming and they will buy it but thre the only fans who would buy some junk like this.(let me not that the walmart by my house still has WOW BC collectors edtions and the EB still has FF collectors editions) if this Legendary Edtion really sells out then it means that MS fans really are lemming and they will buy whatever even if it means them going broke.

how old are you? what the hell does anyone being in debt have to do with this? if you buy this game for 130 or buy two different games for the same price, you're still spending money. don't tell people how to spend their money, whether they are in debt or not. you just don't get it do you? if someone really wants it, let them. if they don't want to and think its too much money, like yourself, don't buy it. very simple.

just get over it, this is the future, these video game companies are going to nickle and dime us till the day we die or stop playing, and if its bothering you so much, than maybe you should quit gaming now and save yourself some money.

I understand your point, but you're missing mine. I agree, but in order to get a PS3 you HAD to get the Blu-Ray player, which isn't going to be of much use outside of playing PS3 games (unless you like to buy movies).

I don't have to have all the fancy stuff to enjoy Halo 3. It is worth it to me? Perhaps, I've been with Bungie during the Pathways into Darkness days. I dig that company.

I think the TC is just trying to move up levels. He did a weird thread before and at the end of it admitted he was B.S.ing and just trying to level up with a lot of posts so don't take him seriously

I agree, I would never in my life spend 130 for a game for a freaking helmet, but hey, for other people its worth it, whether it fits on their heads, or on a pencil eraser, who are we to tell them if its worth it or not. The thing is that we have a choice of what to buy, not one person is being forced to buy it if they don't want to, but people will, so I just can't see what the problem is.

I understand that, I never said you didn't have money, but what I am saying is this. its useless to you, but its not going to be useless for many people, so let them be. I bet if you let anyone come into your home, they would find something that is useless, but its perfect for you, right? who cares what other people think about what you do with your money, so why should we care what you think.

remember I do agree that its crazy to spend so much money for a helmet, but don't tell anyone else not to just because you think its useless.

Lemming Disagree not surprise. Zelda one of the best games ever never came with a collectors or other type of deal? this is one of the highly rated games in history and so is Mario but do you see collectors editions? no you only see them for games that really havn't prooved themselves yet. i can bring up this subject if i please it is my right as a member of gamespot the same way lemming can bring up BR is over priced then say no a 129 version of Halo 3 is justified? do you see the hypocrisy? i do.peacebringer
