Halo Legendary edition a joke

What is MS thinking 129 for a game? it's funny cause they give you all these "Bonuses" but your paying for them..... why not just sell the Helmet Solo? I understand your point, but you're missing mine. I agree, but in order to get a PS3 you HAD to get the Blu-Ray player, which isn't going to be of much use outside of playing PS3 games (unless you like to buy movies).

I don't have to have all the fancy stuff to enjoy Halo 3. It is worth it to me? Perhaps, I've been with Bungie during the Pathways into Darkness days. I dig that company.

Lemming Disagree not surprise. Zelda one of the best games ever never came with a collectors or other type of deal? this is one of the highly rated games in history and so is Mario but do you see collectors editions? no you only see them for games that really havn't prooved themselves yet. i can bring up this subject if i please it is my right as a member of gamespot the same way lemming can bring up BR is over priced then say no a 129 version of Halo 3 is justified? do you see the hypocrisy? i do.peacebringer

but why is it such a big deal? most people will probably ignore it. It's probably for a limited time and only a few nerds are gonna want it.

I think the TC is just trying to move up levels. He did a weird thread before and at the end of it admitted he was B.S.ing and just trying to level up with a lot of posts so don't take him seriously

And do go backwards you admitted you were bsing just to level up, don't now retract just to make this thread sound real. What you did make you loose credibility to a lot of people. I don't post anything just to level up and this thread is obviously not to be taken seriously cause no one is forced to buy the legendary edition just like no one is forced the special edition Matrix collection or LOTR to watch the movies.

You're right. It's far more expensive.

I tend to think this console race would have been much more interesting with a 300 or 400 dollar PS3. The Wii may not have run away with Japan if they had another, reasonable option. Blu-Ray is killing the PS3.

yes it did and as i stated RPG is for more hardcore RPGs(the category for Mass effect is action RPG) i never said it wasn't a role playing game(notice i spelled it out rather than use the three letters) the whole post got so misconfused it was funny and half way thru it i realized people were think i was saying it's not a role playing game. but i onlt stated it's not in the RPG category but Action rpg category and it got 180 post mostly from people misconstruding my message. so yeah i took the oppurtuniy to get some free levels i have never done anything like this and won't in the future it kinda just happend. It was like the Tower of babel(babel means confusion in hebrew)

It is the end of the series that produced my favorite game of all time (Combat Evolved). Paying $130 for Halo 3, the MJOLNIR helmet, both DVDs and the sketch board booklet is completely fine by me.

For those who are hardcore diehard fans they can buy it. For those who just wanna play it like me there's the single game. For those who wanna play and a bit more there's a next version with a special disc.

And also apparently I heard the legendary editions comes with redone versions of Halo 1 and Halo 2 for the 360 I believe. Redone as in it looks better and some stuff I think

I'm getting it. The money issue isn't a big deal to me. I get the collectors edition for just about every big game and I'd say there won't be one bigger than Halo 3 this year.

FYI theres also a collectors edition that comes with the DVD's minus the helmet and it's around 80 so how is that plastic helmet 50 bucks? also you can't even put the helmet on so how is it a replica.

Who the @%$& cares what you would or would not do? I'm not going to buy the "legendary" version of the game, but I'm sure that there are plenty of people who will be perfectly happy to pay $130 for the extra features. I usually buy the collector's editions of movies, because I love watching all of the special features. The people who buy the $130 version will do so, because they want to. And they're certainly not going to care what some judgemental prick on the internet thinks.
