Halo = Most overrated game ever !!

I'd have to agree.  Exspecially during the earlier levels the game was much more enjoyable.  It just didn't really have anything on Halo.

The ending was lackluster, the intial levels were certainly better.rpg9000owner

The games AI got pretty bad when it came to wide open areas.  They were either perfect shots or they'd stand and stare at walls. 

And I don't even remember the ending.  You fought in a space station agaisnt 3 Helghasts or something...

I think he was talking about the grunts. But the enemies in halo all act so different. In killzone its a helgast, ohhhhhhhhhh look a helgast with a different gun. The online play in halo 2 is unreachable, Party and matchmaking system anyone?

Uhh did you realize that Halo came out way back in 2001??? Back then It was impressive because there was nothing like it. You compare it to Resistance and Call of Duty but those games came out a few years after.

Once i read upto 'Killzone' i stoped listening to you from the sound of it you have never owned an xbox and IF you did play halo you probably played it for 3 mins and got owned! on the other hand im a halo GOD and when the GODLY halo 3 arrives my time will come.

i never hear people actually TALKING about this game

however halo is a poor reason to solely own an xbox(like most ps to xbox converted fans claim)

id rather have NG or PDO ... and after that theres not many exclusives left

the problem with halo is these people who only own an xbox still feel their conversion was justified

it's scary how many sole xbox owners i know who's only exclusive is halo(which they don't actually take online), and they're 'satisfied' with their purchase , as if they actually play games

i don't think it's overrated as in "it shouldn't be AAA"

the coop is great, and ill give credit to the ai, vehicles and shield system as well

 i just don't think it's great enough to be the only game you play for an entire generation

And yes, when the industry as a whole gives Killzone the thumbs down, you can go by reviews. Because maybe it's not everyone else. Maybe it's you.

Is Halo the most overrated game? I'm going to have to say yes on that one. It out scored higher than Counter Strike which is the ONLY FPS that kept my interest. So yes, it's overrated. IMO(keyword)shungokustasu

I'm glad you emphasised the opinion status of your post. But with your hate for the whole shooting genre, as you admitted to, I'm not sure you can be objective about any shooting game, no offense.

Look guys I can do the same thing, GT4 is the most overated piece of trash ever, even though the sales were great, it is final that nobody liked that game and they only bought is because of the hype (all 10 milon of them).

Halo and Halo 2 are very overrated, i play them a lot recently to try and find the spark that everyone loves and all i can find is that it must have been the only thing that Xbox owners could buy that was decent...

Im looking foward to Halo 3, but imo Halo's gameplay, is just dam annoying, i hate how u can jump 20 feet in the air, it really pisses me off, and in multiplayer everyone hopping around like rabbits, its so dam stupid
