Halo Reach and Uncharted 2, someones gotta do it

Story: Tie

Uncharted 2 almost takes it because of the character performances, but the story is a bit meh. I like Reach's story more, but the performances are a bit rough.

Music:Tie

Halo's music is always top notch stuff, U2's score was excellent also, but Reach takes this one.

Multiplayer: Reach

Reach absolutely nails it. U2, not so much. Reach's coop is a true 4 player campaign mode instead of UC2's level scraps that more than one person can play through. If you are going to do coop, do it right goddamn it. And Firefight is awesome.Reaches multiplayer has something for everyone. If you don't feeling being owned by 12 year olds that have an unhealthy attraction to your mom, you can play one of the coop non campaign modes. This area is very clearly Bungie's element and they own it.

Graphics: Uncharted 2

People are going to disagree, but I don't give a crap. I think it'scloser than people would care to admit. I prefer Reach's open world non linearlevels to UC2's linear closed in levels, but UC2's character models are fantastic. Both games have terrific varied environments but Reach absolutely kills with it's scale. I think both games do an excellent job graphically.

Gameplay: Reach

There's another reason Halo is so popular, outside of the multiplayer there is a really nice balance with the weapons and the enemy AI can be pretty challenging (Heroic or Legendary) in the campaign. The levels in Reach are fun to run through for the most part and have a nice dynamic feel to them when you are in combat. U2 has ok combat but it never goes beyond that. Reach takes it.

Lasting Appeal:Reach

This one U2 pretty much had no chance with.Once I finished U2, I went back to it a couple of times and never had the desire to go back to it. I'll be playing Reach for sometime to come as I am completely addicted to firefight and would like to do a heroic or Legendary 4 man coop runthrough.

I think Reach wins this comparison, but Uncharted 2 is a very high quality game and is absolutely one of the best experiences this gen.

Even though ND sold out to the CoD noobs and made Uncharted 2 mp wack. I'll always like Uncharted 2 more than Reach. Uncharted 2 was the only game I ever cared to plat or finish 100%.

Add into that the fact UC2 is largely forgotten by now while Reach will still be played actively for years to come.

Ps3 owners don't need to stick to one exclusive! whereas 360 fans are going to be stuck with halo reach until what? next fall? of course that's all they're going to be playing! that's all they've got! not to mention GT5 coming out later this year, killzone 3 coming out early next year, and then the long wait for last guardian and infamous 2!

I just bought my 360 2 weeks ago and I'm currently buying all the games I've missed out on. ATM I'm comparing ninja gaiden black to ninja gaiden sigma. let me tell you, I definitely had a better experience with sigma. It isn't a multiple playthrough or anything along those lines as many of the games I've played so far on 360 I probably wouldn't play again, for example: alan wake.

on the other hand I've beaten demon's souls 10 + times.

Uncharted 2 is a standard for gaming now (in terms of a cinimatic feel), its recieved dozens and dozens of GOTY awards, still reciveing rewards today, and is current console graphcs king.

ninja gaiden black is easier. you can actually upgrade a weapon more than once per vendor whereas in sigma you're limited to upgrading only once per vendor so it makes for a better challenge (which I'm a fan of). you actually have to pick and choose which weapons you think would work for the upcoming scenarios where in black you can upgrade everything at once given that you have enough money. The graphics were completely redone for the ps3 version (and look beautiful) and there's alternate character bonus levels with alma (with completely different weapons and fighting styles) which were added in the PS3 version but not included in the XBOX version.
