halo reach- console multiplayer graphics king

so i have been playing tempest and anchor 9, the two dlcs maps for reach, and i must say that they are absolutely stunning. those environments plus the halo weapon models and effects. maybe not single player, but i think reach's multiplayer graphics are the best on consoles.

I don't have a lot of Halo experience, but from what I remember I'm pretty sure Uncharted 2 and Killzone 2 multiplayer looks better.

King is such a dumb accolade to have.

I'd go with Killzone 2 as best looking, it's one of the few games that looks as good as it does in the singleplayer as it does in multiplayer. With other games you can easily notice a downgrade in graphics.

I agree to an extent, i have to say. Anchor 9 is definitetly one of the greatest looking multi-player maps on consoles.

A game could have amazing graphics but still look like a pile of s***.

I could think of literally 100's and 100's of games which look better than Killzone 2 visually. Some of them being Wii games. :P

Anyway, Reach is an amazing looking game, especially considering all of the action going on at once. The scale is pretty grand.

But really. There are better looking games out there

while technically the footage of killzone 2 does look good, i dont think it beats the reach footage i posted... on a technical level. artistically, of course this is debatable, but reach looks leagues better than that footage.

nope... i will break it down. environments are equally impressive, reach for the clarity draw distance, color pallete and texturing. gun models, especially guns like the dmr have to go to halo. same with charachter models. dont believe me? I can upload in game pics of my halo reach character right now and the level of detail on the spartans is insane. so what about smoke effects/special effects and explosions? yet again this is another area where reach excels.

I'm a big Halo Reach multiplayer fan but let's be honest here it's far from being a graphical showcase.

Is this the same Halo Reach I played last year with the most generic maps ever and basically no scenery. I've seen maps on forge with more detail than some in Reach. The graphics are average anyway regardless of the scenery. KZ3 is multiplayer graphics king anyone who's played the beta will agree.BigBoss255

Well if you're going to talk about art direction, then Blazblue has 10x better graphics than Halo.kussese

I don't like Halo art direction but I will take it over Blazblue's any day :o

Reach looks decent at best, and the video you posted doesn't even do it justice. In fact it looks pretty bad compared to what Reach really has to offer.

Halo Reach does have amazing graphics! It´s not the best, but easly in the top 10 on consoles.
