Halo Reach is going to bring back the Halo franchise

Remember the glory days of original Xbox Halo? Those serious matches on Live where you lived and died with every kill? Competing with and against your friends for bragging rights. The competitive nature that Halo just put you in from the second the commentator yelled out "Slayer" to start the match. I have a feeling Halo fever is going to return with Reach. People who dont even own 360s know about and are talking about it. People are excited for Halo again and that will only grow in the coming months. I have a feeling Reach is going to be a huge success sales-wise (obviously) but more importantly the gamers are going to really love playing Halo again. Just my 2 cents based on everything ive seen and heard as of late with the game. Agree? Disagree?

Did Halo go anywhere? I know quite a few people who still play Halo online...

A lot of people still play Halo 3. It doesn't need to be brought back. I just got a crazy urge to go play...in fact, that's exactly what I'm going to do.

Xbox Live didn't exist until 2002, a full year after Halo and the Xbox came out. Also, Halo Xbox didn't support Xbox LIVE and Xbox Live didn't support Halo...which is exactly what you said there in green. Perhaps you are recalling Xbox's 2004 Halo 2, PC Halo, or some Xbox Halo LAN Gamespy time?

I guess I'm the biggest HALO fan here, because I'm the only one that noticed.8)

The new Halo is the old Halo and not the current Halo. Got it!

Halo has stayed just as great as it always has.

He said bring back a franchise not bring forth a franchise. Also kind of weird Halo Reach looks kiddy to you because one of the main difference between Halo Reach compare to Halo 3 is that Halo Reach looks more darker and mature.:?

People love Halo's multiplayer, and so do I, but I'm hoping the single player is better than Halo 2 and 3, both had some good missions but had some bad and bland ones as well.

I like Halo mp but imo the singleplayer and splitscreen coop campaign of every Halo is what i really love about the series. MP wise i see why ppl love it. Its pretty addictive and balanced but i prefer Bad Company´s type of game. Reach for some reason looks a mix of a Halo and a Battlefield game. Thats a win to me

I feel pretty confident Halo is still around. There is usually 120,000 to 150,000 players online during weekdays.

What I think the TC means is that Reach will put Halo back on top of the Xbox Live charts. #1 played online game on 360. Not to mention many people believe ODST was a let down especially compared to other Halo releases.

It's still the most actively played game on XBL. It's still the game of the MLG.

The only thing Reach is going to do is escelate Halo's already monumental popularity and Live presense.
