He is just saying that in a game where 90% of the time is spent behind a visor, hyping up the facial animation isn't exactly the best way to go about hyping the game. It's like hyping up the on-rails segments of Uncharted 1. Sure they exist in the game, but they are such a small part of the whole package, that one has to wonder why you would.
