Bungie spends a year and 14 people on ODST. It gets a 9.0. Bungie spends 3 years on Reach with many more people, a much bigger production and soon to be whole new engine. I'm guessing it will get a 9.5 or 10, depending on the reviewer.

Halo ODST only got a 9.0 because of how in love with the series the reviwer was, it has a rehashed multiplayer. Any other series did that and it would have gotten marked down a few points.

Way too early to speculate but Bungie Halo games have been AAA consistently, so I guess it's safe to say that Halo Reach can be another AAA game.

Everyone doubted them for ODST. Dont underestimate them. ya but at this point you can only make so many games. As i've continously said it's nice to see they've gotten some clean air in their lungs. I think thats why It scored the way it did also good to bungie for proving the haters wrong. I just really think they'll have to do something more to get that 10. I hope its not more of the same. I hope it really plays differently from the first 3 Halo games.
Put us in some truely epic battles with some real tactical decisions while keeping that run and gun, open level, gameplay that made Halo what it is today. Halo 2 and Halo 3 were to linear compared to the first. The first really allowed you to make some decisions in the heat of the moment and would punish you if you chose wrongly.
I haven't played ODST but I have a funny feeling that ODST is much closer to Halo CE than Halo 2 or Halo 3 while still feeling original (thus the very high score).
Hopefully Reach does this. If it does and keeps a good lengthy campaign and provides the same amazing multiplayer, AAAAE could happen.

Considering Reach is supposed to be Bungies next real Halo game. I meanthey only madeODST to fund Reach. So if the rehashed ODST could score 9.0, then the all new "Reach" should easily be 10.0, and if not then I'll be the first to sayownage approved.
