Reach's art design makes it is so obvious that Reach was inspired by Killzone. Halo 3 had fruity look to it and now they're going for "dark and gritty"? Is Bungie even trying to hide their plagiarism?

The armor abilites in Reach are a complete rip off of the classes in Killzone 2. In Killzone, the Scout class has the ability to become invisible. Bungie stole the idea and called it "armor ability". They ripped off jet packs too. Killzone comes up with a cool new mechanic, and Bungie immediately steals it.

Invasion mode in Reach is an imitation of Warzone mode in KZ2. Bungie liked the idea of constantly changing objectivs and they reveal it exactly one year after KZ2 comes out. There is no way any of these things happened by accident.

Why would Halo (the highest rated and best selling of the two) be inspired by Killzone?

Both do different things in different ways, and both do it great. No need to go beyond that.

Especially when none of the things you mentioned were introduced or made popular by Killzone 2.

Call of Duty stole the use of weapons from Killzone as well, right?

Killzone 2 is the first "dark & gritty"shooter made???

Bungie rips off "invisibility"??? Yeah active cammo never existed in halo....

Go back to the ps3 board, we hate unintelligent fanboys, their arguements are always no fun!

you can't compare Halo reach to killzone 2, killzone 2 you sight down the weapons and use cover, Halo reach retains the same gameplay as previous installments, fast paced, twitch gaming, close in, circle strafing combat, and jet packs have been around since Jetpac and stealth suits have been around since MGS 1 on the Ps1 the only thing i can agree with you on is the darker, grittier part.

OK.

Let's see how wrong you are:

  • Reach still has colour, it's just less "fruity" than Halo 3.
  • Armor abillities are not interchangeable in multiplayer. There are no classes which you can modify, like in KZ. Hereby this makes them different
  • Active Camoflage has been in Halo since it's inception. Reach just puts it in a loadout.
  • Jetpacks were in Halo first. (Don't give me that PSP game, Halo 2 had jetpack elites)
  • Invasion is more like BC2's Rush mode, than Warzone.

Also, why would Bungie be inspired by Killzone? Isn't that going backwards?

Reach looks nothing like Killzone 2 visually. Don't see the connection you're making at all.

Halo: Reach doesn't have classes. Also, Killzone 2 didn't invent classes, and it wasn't the first to have a class that can turn invisible.

Jetpacks were announced for Halo: Reach first. If anything, you could say Killzone 3 copied the idea but I wouldn't because Reach isn't the first game to use jetpacks.

And Invasion isn't like Warzone. Not much to else to say.

Every company steals stuff big deal reach is gonna sell more and more people will play it if my calculations are correct Killzone 2's community is slowly dying while halo with the fruity colors has more players than it ever will .

Well Killzone 1 copied from Halo CE, because it's shown in a first person perspective

And Halo CE copied Doom and the 1000 FPS games that did every thing it did, years before.
