Best game since Halo? But...

Metal Gear Solid 4, The Orange Box, Bioshock, GTA4, Littlebigplanet, Call of Duty 4, Super Mario Galaxy, Crysis, World in Conflict, Mass Effect and probably others came out after Halo3 and were much better.

Which can be said for every big seller, yet Halo is the only one that ever sells because of it's name. :roll:

GTFOH, you kids are sad. It's the only big franchise that sold more as it progressed. Everything else sells less and less as time goes on.

How does it feel to hate something you've never played, only hating it to look like a "real gamer" to a bunch of fake gamers online? I would think it sucks, but then again I don't have this fascination with making people I'll never see accept me.

I can go on but you get the point I hope. Maybe when you grow up and reach the age of 5 you'll see how the world works.

is all I ever see now. Whatever happened to just having great gameplay to keep people playing and not bad gameplay but useless features to keep people playing?

Goldeneye (as nostalgic people love to list), Halo CE, Counter Strike, Counter Strike 1.6, Quake 3, UT2k4, Perfect Dark, SOCOM, Counter Strike: Source, Halo 2, Halo 3, Call of Duty 2 and others all have good gameplay which is why people STILL play them to this day. The only games people don't play is Goldeneye and Perfect Dark, but then again I'm pretty sure people around the world have friends come over and they play it from time to time.

Nowadays it's just mediocre shooters with unlockables to keep people playing, a la COD4, World at War, Modern Warfare 2, Killzone 2..what else? I wouldn't really know since I don't play these types of games, because I like my multiplayer games to excel at gameplay, not customization and unlockables.

First, it's probably best to type your post OUTSIDE of someone's quote.

Second, Folding@Home is a tool used so scientists can research diseases more intensively. If a cure is developed through the Folding@Home project, than yes, the PS3 is helping fight diseases. Don't be a tool just because you have some misguided hate for the PS3, :P

I don't have misguided hate, in fact the PS3 is now my main system after my 360 thought it was be a wonderful idea to munch on my Assassin's Creed.

Anyway it helps scientists' research, which would mean the scientists cured my disease, not the PS3. Folding@home existed way before PS3.

Yup, and Einstein invented the Atom bomb, but if he didn't have people to physically make it, his idea would be useless. Just because the PS3 itself isn't the one finding cures, doesn't mean it isn't doing it's part to aid the process. So, long story short, PS3's help find cure's for diseases. You're just grasping at straws now.
