[QUOTE="Yandere"]Bad Company 2 isn't even better than MW2. So, no. For the record, I think they are essentially on equal footing, just doing the FPS genre a slightly different way.But Battlefield: Bad Company 2 just said that your lying.
rolo107
Yeah because Bad Company is out and we all know it is not as good as MW2.
[QUOTE="loco145"]CoD7 will outsell it.ThePRAssassin
Nice.
In other news, Madden 11 will probably outsell MLB 10: The Show, Fifa 11 and NHL 11 combined.
That definitely means Madden will be the superior sports game, right?
lol and wii sport outsell them all.
thread like this would only make people who arent halo fans dislike halo more.

Battlefield is amazing.
It's sad fanboys won't give Halo a chance. They really are missing out on some of the greatest multiplayer gaming out there. It may not have as many features as say, MW2, but it lasts much longer then MW2. Everything it does do is done flawlessly. Diablo is a basic hack & slash game, but it is done so well that 10 years on (10 years right?) its still played around the globe. Halo is fairly basic in comparison to other FPS titles I suppose, but it's so polished & well made that it exceeds them.
Either way, unless you hate FPS games, you're really missing out if you pass up on Halo.
And you know this because it's Halo, and they showed what the graphics look like... and no gameplay whats so ever?

First, it's probably best to type your post OUTSIDE of someone's quote.
Second, Folding@Home is a tool used so scientists can research diseases more intensively. If a cure is developed through the Folding@Home project, than yes, the PS3 is helping fight diseases. Don't be a tool just because you have some misguided hate for the PS3, :P
xYamatox
I didn't scroll down all the way which caused me to type in your box.
I don't have misguided hate, in fact the PS3 is now my main system after my 360 thought it was be a wonderful idea to munch on my Assassin's Creed.
Anyway it helps scientists' research, which would mean the scientists cured my disease, not the PS3. Folding@home existed way before PS3.
Yup, and Einstein invented the Atom bomb, but if he didn't have people to physically make it, his idea would be useless. Just because the PS3 itself isn't the one finding cures, doesn't mean it isn't doing it's part to aid the process. So, long story short, PS3's help find cure's for diseases. You're just grasping at straws now.
How am I grasping at straws? You knew what I meant, and yet you tried to make some stupid argument out of it.
Let's see.
Me: PS3 can't cure diseases
You: Yes it can
Me: So if I turn it on, my Crohn's disease would be cured?
You: It helps research
You're taking a hypothetical situation and trying to apply it to my post, which is clearly in the now. Who is the one grasping at straws? Not I.
I mean deny it all you want but this game is probaly going to be the best game since.... well since Halo 3. Thoughts?
Heroldp813
well halo 3s crap so thats not much of an accomplishment.

Considering these characters are 6 foot tall supersoldiers fighting in a battle suit that augments their physical abilities on a ringworld with different gravitational influences :|
But you're right. Obviously unless a game sucks unless the characters move like their knee deep in molasses.

Yes, how high your character jumps is the pinnacle of a game's quality. I can't stand any game where you jump higher than 12 inches. On subject, dominate ALL shooters? Subjective. Will it be awesome? Oh yeah. It will. Every Halo game that Bungie has made has been nothing short of excellent. Reach will follow suit.[QUOTE="warmaster670"][QUOTE="Twin-Blade"]

Lemmings.
Believe everything Microsoft tells them....."Halo will win next year, so believe our words". OK we believe you MS. MS says, "Go jump off the cliff, if you love your 360". OK, I will believe and do anything for you, Microsoftmetal-movement
If MS told me to jump off a cliff I would...I would.
I would secretly build a 360 with a built in hanglider before doing so though...you know... because of the whole "You will die if you jump off a cliff without a hanglider" thing.
Then I would fly to the bottom, all while enjoying the sites of the canyon, and build 'Corpsatron' using all of the dead bodies of people who went hangliderless.
I would then go to Bill Gates's house and round-house him, using 'Corpsatron', in the face.
I'd say Lost Planet 2 looks kickass, but it's 3rd person.
So honestly not a single FPS in 2010currently interests me.

Although i understand what your saying, it strikes me as sad that the remarks of fanboys of a game, will help people hate the inanimate object and game program on it. Now we all know fanboyism is a form of blindness, but hating a game because you may not like the fanboys of said game? Way for people to think for themselves.God of War is a better FPS.OreoMilkshake
wut.
Halo Reach will be great, no doubt..but best FPS...that's very much based on opinion and preferences. Besides, we know next to nothing about it.
Love the sig btw.
NO FLOOD, ELITES FTWjg4xchamp
This. The elites are the best enemies by miles. I'd love to see a campaing that is as awesome as Halo CE's was.
And the flood battles were great in Halo CE..the "343 guilty spark" level was great. And I grew to love "the Library" as well..epic fun on Legendary co-op.
[QUOTE="jg4xchamp"]NO FLOOD, ELITES FTWkillerfistThis. The elites are the best enemies by miles. I'd love to see a campaing that is as awesome as Halo CE's was. Halo CE is probably the only time the flood was fun to fight...and by that I mean the 3-way battles. When it was you versus covenant versus flood. Keyes, The Maw were such awesome missions because of that. That and the build up and intro of the flood was awesome. Halo 2 had a nice 3-way battle during that covenant civil war. Why in the hell they didn't consider some kind of badass throwdown between chief/arbiter, the covenant, and the flood for Halo 3 is beyond me.
I can assure you the campaign will not feature the Flood since they are only present in the Halos, and well, the battle is on Reach, so yeah no flood. I also wanna see the campaign being an EPIC war with amazing music by Marty. Halo 3 didn't really have any epic battles, but hopefully Reach will since it's pretty much a warArbiterisl33t69Ok a few disagreements. Halo 3s campaign was by no means bad, hell at times it was brilliant when it played to Halo's strenghts. The 3 different scarab battles(including the final part with 2 scarabs) That vehicle run before the big ass UNSC ship lands during the Ark mission. A lot of other vehicle moments, and the more open field shooting. in short The first mission=decent 2nd mission= ugh too much corridor shooting, Halo and corridors don't work very well Tsavo Highway= Good mission The Storm= Good Mission Flood mission= Lame, it was all flood The Ark= Fun The Covenant= EPIC, until the end when the covenant was killed, and now all you had was the flood Cortana= ABOMINATION!! Halo= Letdown. The campaign had so many good moments, it was just offset by even dumber and boring moments.

Two Betrayels :)jg4xchampYah, that's the one..I was stuck on that last big battle for freakin ages on legendary.:x when you have to steal the banshee to destroy the two energy things.
All this talk makes me want to play it again..
I'm rethinking this..I remember those damn flood guys with rocket launchers on legendary. I think I'll replay it on Heroic..lol.
If it is more squad-based and tactical, with incredible customization and a peronalized spartan for online play, then yes, it might become the best FPS ever. ( that is going a little overboard i know)
if they add perks. I'll consider chucking the disc out the window. NO Perks in mah Halo :(If it is more squad-based and tactical, with incredible customization and a peronalized spartan for online play, then yes, it might become the best FPS ever. ( that is going a little overboard i know)
