How does anyone wear down his shields?

IF BULLETS break the shields down, WOLVERINE's adamantium, slice through anything like a Hot Knife through Butter, Claws would have no problem.

If Wolverine decided NOT to actually shoot back at MC, he would just keep slicing until the shield were gone...

The Covenant break MC's shields all the time, even the Grunts, when the MELEE Chief with their silly weak weapons.

Again, Wolverine wouldn't have any issues there.

You are right about the last two.

Wolverine could beat MC easy if he could get close enough...... but Spartan Laser = good night Wolverine.... unless you think Wolverine could heal himself from a Spartan Laser blast within 3 sec and move outta the way b4 the 2nd Spartan Laser blast came. I don't think so.... WOlverine loses this one. Heck even in close quarters a Spartan can kill you with 1 or 2 melee strikes. The strike wouldn't kill WOlverine, but it would knock him out.... then MC could just toss Sticky Nades on him all day long.
