Halo3 Biggest 10 Screwups :o

A lot of it can be fixed in a patch, the only thing I can really agree with is the melee, it is rediculous, and the lunge is just stupid.

The ending was good though

Seeing as Bungie designed the combat to be 1/3 guns, 1/3 grenades, and 1/3 melee attacks, I wouldn't pass off the melee problem as a small one. It's a glaring flaw that needs to be fixed.

How fair is it that the guy with the quicker thumbs doesn't get the kill?

They fixed all of those things listed (except for push to talk chat which was set up differently) on halo 2. Trust me, if tweaks are needed they will come.

That really, REALLY needs to be fixed.

Some of those I can agree with, but others are just stupid. Here's a list (with some of theirs) that I think can make the game better.

1. Fix Melee System

2. Show what will come next if you veto. (There have been so many times that we veto it and get worse!)

3. Update Forge with weapons(Maulers cannot be placed on Sandtrap...why?)

4. Update Theatre (Scrollbar would make fetching clips so much easier. I would take it even if only worked by yourself)

5. Fix Team Chat (They gave us the veto button, so I think that will suffice if I have an annoying teammate)

6. Fix glitches with armor sets (Some friends of mine have all achievements but are missing some pieces)

7. Fix ranking system or give us explaination of it. (I've had friends who derank twice--even three times once-- in ranked games)

If Halo 3 had servers, there would be no chance of them ever going down unless every single person on XBL stopped playing. Halo should have servers, because if it's such a big deal, why go for the budget model of online play?

There's almost 500'000 people online all the time when I play, and most games are 4 vs 4. That would be tough to set up servers for so many games....

Hmm a fanboi flaming a TRUE fan boi because he gives an unbiased opinion about halo 3? Heh I totally agree with him. Halo 3 is not AAA material, it does nothing to gameplay and very little to story, seriously the story is told so badly in this one I just said forget it and didn't bother. The first one's claim to fame was that fact it was the only GOOD game for the failure know as xbox at launch. After that one the other two slowly fell in quality. Not even the graphics are up to par with what the systems can do. It's really saddening. Honestly the graphics in this game are terrible(play gears of war after you finish playing a round of halo) and the action isn't even intense. On higher difficulties they just give the enemys more powerful guns and they mostly just try to pick you off from REALLY far away. I have no idea how this game gets such high praises, even my friend who is not really much of a gamer, sat down and played the game and his exact words were *So what's so special about this that it gets all this attention?* that's when I realised that they only people who can give an unbiased review of this game are those who have never really played it much, because even after I let him play gears of war and he was hooked on that.

Take a look at that review. While he may be very bad mouthed his points are very valid and yes I know he bad talks every game but he also comes out and says when a game is very good, he just points out the negatives in it, instead of being the *this game can do no wrong* type of reviewer.

Yes you actually should listen because it is not professional. If it were GS would use 3-4 reviewers to give thier scores for one game and then use the average as teh rating. Using one person is basically an OPINION and does not say how good the game is. I'm glad you ignored all my other points about halo's flaws though, good job there. Let me ask you something do you really think Halo's graphics are good and up to par with what the system can do? Do you think the gameplay is that great? Well I don't but you probably do. See there? Opinions. Same as the GS reviewer. I downloaded the review and he had me pumped to get halo 3. When I did it was the most dissappointing and a waste of money. Beat the campaign on the hardest in 4 days of casual play and I don't care for XBL since it's not available in my country so I just basically wasted my time with halo while the reviewer made the game out to be the best thing ever.

every signle one of those points they made is true. but + 1 more... the fact that they don't have a game lobby for coop games and that you have to use friends lists to invite is just plain dumb matchmaking = LAME period. I want a lobby and I want to pick a game that I have a good connection to, not this laggy crap that the game "feels' i need to be in :roll:

Nah the framerate is absolutely fine, 95% of the time at least unless a dozen or so frags are thrown in one area there is some slowdown but nothing that will kill your mother.
