To be honest, I don't really understand the purpose of this remake? The original game already plays at an amazing resolution. Are they going to be adding other things? Updating textures and stuff? Reopening the online? What's the deal? If all they're going for is a higher resolution it really isn't needed IMO. The game looks great. MrSelf-Destruct

Only Halo I've ever owned myself is Reach, and it made me kinda interested in the series, and since Halo 1 is what happens right after Reach, I certainly wouldn't mind a remake of it

Hell no... it's not needed its been what 10 years?! i love halo but come on if Microsoft goes through with this it pretty much means they don't give a damn about 1st party anymore. This will be the biggest money grabber in history if it does happen.

Sounds like Halo 2/3 might come to PC now. If that is the case then yes, I would pickup Halo CE for PC.

Sony redid the GOW games for ps3.

This stuff is pretty standard practice.

To answer tc, no. 4 halo games in one gen is enough.

I really don't want it but if it comes out I will most likely buy it. Halo CE is the best of the games but the problem for me is its still BC compatible for the 360. I can play it when ever I want so why do I need a remake?TheColbert

It's my favorite Halo game, so yes.

Yes - if the graphics, not just the resolution, are completely built from the ground up. Like REmake was for the GC. I will buy one first day.

Sure. Bumped up graphics, achievements that tie into Waypoint. Why not?
