Yes, it's very suprising people have opinions that differ to mine. It's almost Ilike they have a mind of there own :o

Well, see, phrasing it like "barely any fun to be had" implies that you don't think a handheld owner can have any fun with their system. Obviously this is not true.
I've noticed people on System Wars get very upset when you post something they disagree with. Hence why after that line i wrote IMO, quite clearly.
In my opinion there is little fun to be had. If my opinion effected the world, then what youwrote may have some meaning.
Dude, SW is just full of haters, mainly made up of 360 and PS3 fanboys. I thought I would throw my 2 cents into the mix with this thread, and I honestly thought there would be fewer that agreed with me. I respect everyone's opinion, but wanted to know how the majority thought.
Anyway, for those that need examples, here you go:
1. Mario Kart DS. Arguably the best iteration of the series, this keeps it simple, allows for portable online play, and has a decent amount of unlockables
2. God of War: CoO. The lighting effects and shading may be poorer, but the fact that Ready at Dawn could cram in all onto a handheld and offer an (arguably) equal experience is mind blowing.
3. Zelda: PH and ST. Yeah, the stylus-only met with crankiness, but the gameplay ideas (tracing, blowing into the mic, etc.) were truly original.
4. Chinatown Wars. The music, scope, and life crammed into a portable game arguably equalled GTA4.
5. Any of the best GBA games. Ports of ****cs (NES and SNES gems), and new ideas (e.g. Superstar Saga, Bit Generations, Minish Cap) all made portable = win.
6. Hotel Dusk / Trace Memory / Phoenix Wright: return of the adventure genre. Nuff said?
7. SRPGs: Jeanne D'Arc. Advance Wars. FF Tactics. Disgaea. Fire Emblem. All better than anything consoles have to offer.
I'm not going to list any more, you all know what's good and what isn't. But originality is make or break for me, and portable gaming is the usual outlet for that IMO.
