Depending on your definition I'm not sure if I qualify as hardcore, but there are a lot of games I can admit to being bad at. Strategy, RTS, and as you say I don't have the patience for most stealth games. I don't even like short stealth-based sections in non-stealth games. However I do (mostly) like Assassin's Creed, but thats not really traditional stealth.

Same here, Windwaker the first level SPOILERS* after you leave your home island END SPOILERS* was annoying.
you're not superb at a certain genre? I'm not very good at stealth games, just don't have the patience required to be successful at it. I'll sneak around a bit, get caught and then try to shoot my way out of a situation which never works.
What do you suck at?
Bigboi500
I have been gaming for a long time and still do it regularly, but I tend to suck as most games compared to other gamers :P
I really only excel at exploiting easy strategies in the game, which is why I love playing GTA games. Because of the free roam environemt, there is always some way to exploit the game to make every mission easy (park a car just outside the clear radius on a race mission, make a roadblock down the road on a chase mission, park a helicopter nearby on a follow mission, etc.......)

Stealth is soooo much fun though! Truth be told though, I tend to use the stealth to take out every enemy. I just love going through an entire level of Rainbow Six Vegas, killing everyone, but never alerting them to your presence. And in MGS, just stealth killing everyone and hiding their bodies.
I'm not good at RTS - I'm good against the computer, but when I go online I get hammered.
I'm also crappy at most racing games because I don't like to slow down before I go into a corner haha. PGR4 is like the only exception from this.
And I suck at a lot of fighting games. I hate Dead or Alive and Virtua Fighter cos I'm crap at them, but last gen I was bloody amazing at Soul Calibur 2 (Nightmare was my character of choice) and Super Smash Bros Melee (Ganondorf FTW!!)
I suck at online RTS, im the guy who enjoys building huge bases with so much redundancy that a neclear strike would not affect it, however that is not the way to play agains treal players.

Yeah same problem here, i love RTS, but im a very slow player, most people are too fast for me, once i dig in though im pretty tough it just takes me a long time.
Im not very good at rhythem games, which is crazy, im a bass and guitar player, and have been for years, plus i dont like them, so its probably psychological, id rather just have a jam with friends than play guitar hero or rock band, seams like a completely pointless escapade to me.
I suck at Halo. :cry:Jandurin
I doubt that is even possible for anyone who has played games for a decent amount of time.
im not a fan of RTS's. Rome Total War wsa the biggest waste of $20 for me. i palyed for liek 5 hours and got soooo bored. but i did enjoy world in conflict demo.BTBAM127
1st RTW=/=RTS

i pwn all!! muahahahahahahahahaha!
no seriously im pretty good at all trypes of games, i don't really suck at any, not even guitar hero (thought i would suck but i didn't! :D)
I suck at racing games sometimes, and FPS im ok.
Good at Socom 2.
Decent on rockband drums only played it a few times and beat Enter sandman on Expert with my bare hands.
It has to do with games so it can still be in system wars. It might be better suited for General Games Dicussion.sports games would have to be my weakness.
Why is this in system wars?

I'm bad at FPS. I can beat the single player campaign. But that is about it.
I'm also bad at 2D top down games like Zelda, and Metal Gear from the 80s/early 90s. I never know where to go and need gamefaqs for life support.
I'm like half-way decent at racing sims like Forza. I'm getting better though.
I suppose you're correct, I just don't find them fun so I loose my patience easily with stealth games. I remember trying to play MGS on Playstation, and having that General screaming at me every five minutes. "SNAKE! SNAKE!" lolTC I'm the same as you, but I wouldn't say it makes us bad at stealth games, I just don't see the fun in waiting around for ages, I can do it because I completed MGS3 and I like Sniper Elite which is pretty sneaky, but some games like Splinter Cell are just boring to me. I don't see the fun in standing around waiting for someone to follow the same pattern until he gets where I want him...
Same with RTS where you have to collect stuff and build factories to make grain to feed your troops and make armour shops and crap like that, I just don't have the patience or willpower to play for 2 hours basically doing nothing collecting supplies before I can even doo anything to progress.
