[QUOTE="Jrob2k6"][QUOTE="glitchgeeman"]So, in your opinion, what is the hardest genre or what is the hardest one to master?
Personally, I think it's RTS since I'm really bad at micro-management and it just seems to take a lot of strategy and tactics to be good at them.
Fighting (except for Super Smash Bros) and FPS come at a close second considering no matter what, I always seem to be the n00b in all matches I play. :Pglitchgeeman
Explain.Well, maybe some people wouldn't consider SSB to be a fighter, but it's the only 'Fighter' I'm good at.
Super smash bros. is probably one of the hardest fighting games to truely master. because the timing is rediculus. short hop fast fall laser, short hoping in general with some characters, wave dash, shine wave, teching, real edge gaurding, and truely improvised combos, and just plain knowing exactly where to get your character at the right time, take FOREVER to really get down. Its not just a button masher I promise.
EDIT: I wold have to say that multiplayer RTS is one of the hardest and most nerve racking gaming experiences there is when you are playing against someone good. the shear sence of urgency makes it that much harder. (especially when you are looking down the wrong end of a zerg rush)
