To me MGS4 had the hardest difficulty of any other game i played, including Halo on legendary and Ninja Gaiden on hardest. And if your trying to get the Big Boss Emblem...all i can say is good luck!
What's yours?

NG2. I played it on easy and still found it difficult, so I can only imagine how challenging the hardest difficulty would be.
Also, L4D on Expert was pretty damn hard.
[QUOTE="-Oath"]
From what Ive played, insane mode on Subterranean Animism: TouHou. A bullet hell shooter.
Yandere
Touhou games are purdy.
NG2 makes NG:B (and Sigma) look like a cakewalk on Master Ninja.
I still can't beat the first level.
In my experience, I'll say Shinobi (PS2) on Super mode and DMC4's Helland Hell
I'd probably say Master Ninja mode on NGS, but I haven't even been able to get past the first mission on hard lol.
[QUOTE="Nonstop-Madness"]Veteran in KZ2 vs Radec .... unbelievable.munu9Yeah, radec academy is ridiculous, it takes like 3 headshots to kill a helghast and the helghast swarm around you in packs of 4 against 2 (really against 1 because your partner is basically useless)
1- It's Elite, you CoD freak
2- Beating Radec on that difficulty literally took me about 4-5 days to finally get past that last battle. It was insane.

黒-Mode in Beatmania IIDX StyIe 15 DJ Troopers. It takes the hardest tracks from Another difficulty and makes them about twice as hard with twice as many notes. Bullet-hells may look difficult... but they don't require two brains and four hands to play.
An example.
God Mode on God of War games is ridiculously hard. I hope they mellow it out a bit on GOW3.djsifer01

Well, there is a difference between hard and impossible, some rythmn games have impossible songs just for having them.

I've never played DMC but it takes a lot more then button mashing to beat GoW, a lot more.gotdangit

The question is which game has the hardest mode but I'm just giving an example of the hardest game I've played. I garuntee you, you cannot beat GoW on God mode by just button mashing.
I never said DMC wasn't hard, I'm just saying GoW is hard, jut because it's not as hard as one game doesn't mean it isn't hard. The question is which game has the hardest mode but I'm just giving an example of the hardest game I've played. Button mashing= death. I beat both GoW games on the highest difficulty and you definitely cannot button mash. You have to constantly be dodging and countering attacks. Dante Must Die on DMC3 is harder though, but I've beaten that too

Test your Zig-Zag skills here!
Even on God Mode you can walk through the game and button mash. Try playing Devil May Cry 3 on Dante Must Die Mode... where all the enemies can kill you in a single hit, all enemies devil trigger after a few seconds and all the enemies are on their hardest forms and stats. The God of War games are hilariously easy compared to DMC3.
foxhound_fox
I may be wrong, since it's been a while since I've played DMC. but from what I remember, the same rules that applied to dante also applied to the enemies meaning one hit kills for them also. I remember playing throught that mode and thinking to myslef, "this is the easiest mode ever." But like I said, it's been a while since I've played so I don't really remember that well:?
but to answer the original question, souldiner X from psn annoys the ......... outta me. I'm still unable to pass the first level:(

nope, that's on Heaven or Hell mode, you die with one hit, everything dies with one hit, dante must die is way harder, takes a whole lotta bullets and at least 5 direct sword hits to kill the easiest of enemies, Vergil's 3rd fight was a royal pain in the ass to beat...Eh, I might get flamed for this but, I am finding the Rank 7 and 8 races in Motorstorm 2 frustratingly difficult. The rest of the game was a reasonable challenge, but now it is getting seriously frustrating.
DMC 3 was a classic and the ones who've played it know how hard the higher difficulty levels were, no doubt.
The BBE wasn't difficult to get at all. I beat the game on TBE, and got the BBE with a final time of 2:45:03. It wasn't even a challenge. :|To me MGS4 had the hardest difficulty of any other game i played, including Halo on legendary and Ninja Gaiden on hardest. People around here other than foxhound don't seem to have played Devil May Cry 3 on Dante Must Die mode, it's ridiculously hard, bosses are 1-2 hit killers, normal enemies are always in their best shape and can dodge anything but bullets, it's hell in it's most pure formGTR2addictI have, and I still wonder to myself how I was able to complete it even after all these years. It's been a while since I've played it. Anyway, another game worth mentioning is Far Cry on the Realistic setting. Oh the amount of times I almost pulled my hair out trying to get by a single checkpoint. With the tridgens and mercs that can magically spot you from miles away, and the fact that you can only take no more than 4-5 shots, the game is very close to being impossible on that difficulty.

You haven't played shinobi on the hardest.. the sword is sucking your HP at an extremely stupid rate, the enemies are blocking and dodging like no other and their damage is ramped up. Did I mention the sword is sucking YOUR HP DOWN? Your wepaon is killing you.
