Has 3ds been the worst device from nintendo since the virtual boy

What a disaster this thing. I only have one thing to say to supporters and that is to laugh. My god what has happened. This is legendary. I've never laughed that hard since final fantasy 13 meltdowns

The 3ds is fine. Great games out now, granted most are ports and such, but the future lineup looks fantastic.

I would say Gamecube, I did not find many titles I really enjoyed. I found allot of the first party games I enjoyed better on the Wii.

It absolutely is.

It has games that I am interested in, I actually own Zelda and Street Fighter, and it has a bunch of upcoming games I'm interested in as well. The software isn't the problem. The hardware is the problem. Horrible battery life, poor design, all the talk about this 2nd analog stick peripheral add on which we all know will be built into the next 3DS version...

Software wise, the 3DS is fine. Hardware wise, I would be hard pressed to find you a bigger failure in the history of gaming.

The 3DS is fine for the most part.

The big thing is its falling tremendously short of their unholy high, lets surpass the DS , expectations.

This post release panic though is a tremendous problem though for Nintendo's image, especially with another experimental system on the horizon.

Currently it is, but Nintendo isn't a billion dollar corporation just by chance. They'll find their niche with this handheld although I do think they are in serious jeopardy of losing the dominance they've enjoyed for the past 15+ years. Unfortunately, Nintendo's misstep deals with making a games only platform that isn't open to accomodating all types of games. Consequently, they're stuck in an awkward middleground between casual iOS games and more specialized platforms like the Vita.

theres nothing wrong with the 3ds and the wii is fine the consoles arent bad only the virtual boy was a bad console hes just being dramatic

It's just been badly designed, something they can fix with a brand new looking version of it. And by brand new I don't mean something that looks exactly like the DS :?

3DS is a totaly solid handheld, I don't know what you mean by comparing it to Virtual Boy. That was just a "filler" console to shorten the wait time for the N64.

nah sorry its basic features are just like a Dsi.camera, internet...etc If they had taken the 3d aspect out then games wouldn't have to be tailored to 3d to garner more sales as a gimmick, and the system would have that much more power when it comes to expressing grapics....but no the systems power is cut near in half to produce the same visuals on 2 different scales for a pseudo 3d affect.

so what your saying is If I had spent 250 I should never purchases a Psueod 3d game or turn off the systems chief feture and just be happy.

Internet, and camera capabilities are not worth 250 or 169 dollars. Games that could have appeared on the DS in a slightly inferior graphical form are not worth 250 or 169 dollars specially when I already own a dsi XL and a DS Lite. 3ds is a marginal upgrade over the DS in terms of graphics and capabilities,dont believe they couldn't have updated the DSi to play Nes, Gba or such titles not when certain groups managed it.

wth is psuedo 3d how is it fake 3d? its just depth its the same concept just done a different way.

idc what you spend your money on to say the 3d hurts your eyes is a problem is dumb because you can turn the 3d off. it completely negates that whole issue of it being a problem for the 3ds for whoever eyes it do hurt or w.e

Ummm, no, not even close.

The 3DS will have more than one good game (Virtual Boy's only real memorable game was Wario land), so that allone makes it a f***ton better than the Virtual Boy. Then there's the fact that the 3DS is still early in it;s life cycle, it's been out for what, not even half a year?
