And if any of you sons of leeches say the ending of FF7 I'll *Bleep* END YA!

J/K

Pokemon coliseum.

Many years ago. The final boss i couldn't beat him so he made me so angry i threw the controller and cried.

Of course you can cry for sadness or out of anger.

Nope, so far I think only a single movie made me pink away a tear, Seven Pounds. Games, no, not yet.

Game Storytelling is still mediocre at best. It's always about a Hero trying to save the world and getting the hottest chick. They have become more epic, but as far as emotions I think there's still a long way to go.

Yeah PSO when Sega screwed me and messed up when I moved my characters over to PSO ep 1&2 and then couldn't use them because of the stupid way they did hunter licenses - must of had about 400 - 500 hours worth of leveling up on those guys plus all the godly weps & armors...

This is gonna sound very stupid but yes. It was Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver. I played all the games in the franchise, and Soul Reaver was the last on my list. So i allready knew the characters, and the oppening cinematic was so epic i shed a tear... :D

Another case is the intro in Escape from Butcher Bay. I didn't cry because it was sad, but beacase it was so epic....

:?

I'm weird.

Sadly, no. If a game can make me cry it'll probably be very high on my list of favorite games due to the emotional connection I would have with it.

Closest games to get there are probably Lost Odyssey and what I played of Heavy Rain before I couldn't play it anymore.

I cried at the end of MGS4. And that's the only time I've ever cried at a piece of media. I'd been following the series ever since it came out on the MSX2, and to see my favorite series of all time, plus all the charcters I came to know and love, concluded in such a brilliant way, I naturally shed a few manly tears. :D

yes.. the final dungeon of final fantasy 3 (DS) made me cry because there is no way to save and you have to fight like 10 bosses to reach the final boss (which means about 3 hours of gameplay).. and the final boss is a cheapass as it inflicts so much damage that your party will probably need to heal constantly and cannot attack the boss properly..

and more importantly.. if you want to fully heal yourself you have to go out of the final dungeon and go out of the dungeon right before of the final dungeon before that.

i failed to beat the final boss and i had to do the whole thing over again and i was so enraged that i cried tears of anger !!@@@!

so i grinded 10 hours and beated the boss ... then i cried tears of joy

does this count..?

There is a problem with some copies/PS3 consoles that prevents you from playing the game. When you try to load the game from the start menu it will go to a black screen and, essentially, freeze your console. You have to manually shut off the PS3 in order to turn it off and you can not load your save file.

Supposedly, there is a patch coming that is said to fix some minor issues but they are unsure if it will fix that problem. I'll be pretty mad if it doesn't fix it because I want to play it. It was an awesome game what I played so far.

Unfortunately, no. The reason why I say unfortunately is because a game would have to have a pretty damn good storyline to make me cry. VGs have made me sad quite a few times but they have never made me cry.

I never really cried, but there was a moment in Dragon Age: Origins that left me with a tear.
When you refuse Morrigan's Dark Ritual and had Care or Love approval and she says :"...goodbye my....friend/love". Depending on your approval. Or if you accept it then the whole party speach before the final battle./
Oops... how do these spoiler thingies work:P

The Elephant Man is an amazingly powerful film.

MGS4s Microwave Hallway Epic Crawling scene was pretty special. Ninja Gaiden made me cry with frustration. That game literally brought me to my knees, hands to the sky saying "Why god, why!!", before leaving me in a borderline pyscotic state, hunched in the fetal position.

But Half Life 2: Episode 2s ending left me in a sort of sad, depressed, confused situation, but I don't think I cried. :D

The End of Yoshi's Island.

I cried.

Because of all the adventures I went with Yoshi and I remembered all the adventures Mario will have and what he will be destined to do.

and Some games just make me cry because I hate it so much...(but not Yoshi's Island, that was a good cry).

yeah i've had some "depressed" moments when playing some games

Dragon Age Origins playing as evil (even tho there's no measurement of it in the game) is really brutal

especially once you get to redcliffe castle
instead of saving Connor, you can slit his throat or have Isolde kill him with a knife
that really sucked, it made me stop playing for at least a day on my evil playthrough

Such a great and underrated game.

The closest I got to tears was HL2:E2.

The ending left me sad and angry.

I hope Valve will hurry up with Ep3 'cos I can't wait to continue the story.

I've said it before, I'm a big baby. I've cried because of many games. FFX, FFX-2, I'm pretty sure XII at some point. Heavy Rain most recently. Mass Effect, the second one did too. Uncharted 2 made me cry. MGS4, Bioshock, I'm sure my cry baby ass has cried at more, but that's all I can think of right now lol

I think I've shed about two manly tears ever, not sure if I was on some pain med at the time but either way a single tear was shed each time. First was when Tidus hi-fives his pops at the end of the FFX, the other would be MGS3, killing the Boss and the whole end sequence.
