Not really. Gaming hasn't fully developed as an art form yet. One day, I'd like to think games could be remember on the same level as movies, music, etc. and have the same kind of impact. Maybe when we finally give FPSs a rest -_-sonicthemegaman
yeah, its mainly the action-adventure and rpg genre that has the detail in character emotion and story enough to make it almost a movie.
like mass effect or metal gear solid 4
to bad most games are just pure fps action with story, character development, and interactions as a very minor part of the game.

That's why I don't give up on RPGs. Behind all the "spikey haired teen saves the world" junk are some true gems. Eternal Sonata is a good example. I'm also interested in Folklore. Some thought was actually put into the stories.[QUOTE="Decrate"][QUOTE="sonicthemegaman"]Not really. Gaming hasn't fully developed as an art form yet. Isn't that a good thing? I mean a story is good but it shouldn't get in the way of the gameplay.FF10, MGS3's ending. I would've shed tears when I was watching MGS4's ending, but that like 1am. lol
There was this story of this kid, who got his mother into animal crossing, and she played it all the time, and he kinda lost interest in it while she still played. His mom became sick and eventually died, but then like a year later, he turned the game on, and he saw that his message box was full of birthday presents and i love you cards from his mom. Im gonna be honest, i started balling,
i dont do the story justice though youd have to see the video
yeah i remember FFX
i got so confused at the end on why he wasnt real, i still dont get it lol

God damn have you heard of spoiler tags? I'm on my first time playing and you just ruined it! ;_;
As for whether a game has made me cry, no. A movie? No. TV Show? Yes. I cried when my favorite main character died in Lost.
[QUOTE="IlovemyAbs"]
From a videogame? Definitely not. Last time I cried was about 3-4 years ago LMAO
Furi-Kun
I love your sig. No, I really do. Kenny is a genius.
On topic. I don't think any game made me cry. I was sad at the ending of Crisis Core though...
Pure genius. Best show ever! :P
no, i never rage either. as a kid when i couldn't do things i didn't rage either. i never cried at films or music either, the only thing that brought tears to my eyes was green mile, and i'm not sure why. i've not cried properly since i was about 10.
***SPOILER ALERT***
almost and i mean really close my eyes watered up and everything. it was at the end of kingdom hearts when even thoughsora endured all the trials the game through at him in order to be reunited with kairi he had to leave her behind on the island and kairi goes back to the cave on the island and crys when she sees the picture sora drew on the wall.......put yourself in there shoes at that moment and you would come close to tears too
Cry? No. Feel emotionally connected to the story and feel sad? Certainly. The middle of Valkyria Chronicles... I'll say no more.
If you start to cry because of video games you seriously have some social problems or something else.
maybe you are just an emotionless shell of a human that feels nothing and can experience no joy in anythingIf you start to cry because of video games you seriously have some social problems or something else.
