Has anyone played a perfect game?

gamig perfection was achieved in 2000 by ion storm. Deus ex on PC is essentially the perfect game imho. i could nit pick but it was an extreemly ambitious game that actually pulled it off. no game has beaten it since in terms of...well..everything.

unfortunately the sequal was a let down which leads me to believe that deus ex was a fluke. but dam what a fluke. i played it again a few weeks back and it still makes a mockery of everything else on the market imho. 

Every game is perfect to me...

Well... except Big Rigs, does that even count as a game?

just games that comes close

perfect games are my favorite games.

lets see as of now  ff7,ff8,ffv, super metroid, mario rpg, chrono trigger, breath of fire 2, blue dragon even though i havent played it :) looks too great, super contra, contra hardcorps, gunstar heroes, castlevania symphony of the night, doa4, capcom vs snk 2, marvel vs capcom 2, streeet fighter 3, legend of legaia 1, dragon force, kartia, warcraft 3, mortal kombat trilogy.

does are the best of the best that i can remember that i'll give a 10/10 in my book.

I know it's all opinion, but what are you thinking? 

No game in the world is perfect, few have came close e.g OoT,FFVII, Chrono Trigger and some other great games. Every game has at least a Single tiny law even OoT.

Bad graphics. 

I ask because it seems the standards in System wars are incredibly high. Screenshots, movies, and demos all seem to be crap. Even high scoring games seem to be crap to at least several people here. So I am just wondering, if games like MGS, Halo, Mario, Zelda, Kotor, Half life 2, GT4, and WoW are all crap, than what games are actually great?Sicknic

Tetris, Fantasy Zone 2, Super Mario Bros 3, Super Mario World, Yoshi's Island, Ultimate Doom, Super Punch Out, Street Fighter 2 Turbo, F-Zero, Pokemon Ruby, Sega Rally, Goldeneye, Halo, and a few more I can't remember right now, all come as close to perfection as I personally need, respective of their time, the system they were on and my own general expectations etc...

Close to Perfection: Final Fantasy X (awful grid system),  Final Fantasy VII (Lame characters, Cait Sith..need I say more?), KOTOR (Battle system wasn't that great),

There are a few games that can be considered "perfect" (not without flaws, but a game that surpasses all but other perfect games). My only perfect game was FFVIII.Saturos3091

FFVIII could've been great if it weren't for that awful Draw system and GFs. The GFs made the game so easy. The game was never challenging till the 4th disc.  

I don't know anyone that dislikes Super Metroid.

To me, it's the perfect game.

FFX, Kingdom Hearts 2, Okami. Pretty much every Paper Mario game. All are perfect games.

I say no game is perfect, but any true gamer will know that Street Fighter 3: Third Strike is near perfection than any other game. Both in gameplay and technicality.

edit: Starcraft, Counter Strike, and Street Fighter 3: Third Strike are near flawless games. Each game has 8+ years of a strong userbase still playing today.
