Has anything Xbox done to make you (PS4/PC) people want to buy Xbox or Xbox games?

I got my X1X primarily for Forza and multiplats and it has been very good to me in that respect.

But if I had to choose only one between PC, PS4, Switch and Xbox I would go PC first provided it has the power and I have the money.

PC > PS4 > X1X > still not sold on a Switch.

Tbh play anywhere killed my interest in xbox. Even my most die hard xbox friends have decided to move to playstation next gen and save money for a PC.

Play anywhere sends the message that MS doesn't value it's games and doesn't respect the gamers who purchased their system for their exclusives.

it's a total turn off for any logical gamer, but xbox fanboys blindly defend it as options...it just looks desperate and weak. It shows MS has absolutely no confidence in xbox as a platform and isn't a wise choice to invest in.

Trolling? I'm not saying any of that as a fact it's my opinion.

However, going by people voting with their wallets there is probably more truth to my opinion than whatever you may believe. Xbox one basically died as a viable console alternative in 2015 when MS announced play anywhere day and date with all future xbox exclusives.

I hope MS recants that idiotic decree for their upcoming console but looking at their current push to trojin horse their games as a service nonsense model there isn't much hope for MS as a serious console provider.

While i wish play anywhere gets canned, its not gonna happen.

1. As people have stated, they make more money thanks to play anywhere due to how badly Sony has beat them in console sales, thus they need to branch out to PC.

2. The amount of backlash they would get for starting Play Anywhere and then removing it when the next Xbox comes out would be astronomical compared to Xbox E3 2013. People would jump on the hate wagon without a second thought.

Heck i wouldn't be surprised if MS decides to go full multiplatform and start releasing their games on PS4.... the amount of studios they just bought plus their goal to branch out to as many platforms as possible points to them attempting to become a game publisher and backing out of the console market in a gen or two, imo...

Erm... probably never. PlayStation is the land of heaven when it comes to JRPG's and exclusivity that matches my interests.
