Yet by typing those 8 words and one number, you are doing the same pathetic thing.

consider this. If games in the top 10 list are judged within 3 decimal places then that clearly shows that GR uses decimals as their be all and end all form of deciding where a game stands in terms of ratings. Yes uncharted averages at 90% but if you are going to use the most complete ranking system that we have you are going to have to be as accurate as possible. You go with the most accurate score the site gives.

In the old system for GS we didnt round up zelda:tp to AAA just because it would have rounded that way. In the end, uncharted did not score AAA based on GR finite score system.

As a PS3 owner im sure hardcore cows will rather have HS, R&C, RFOM, Motorstorm and Uncharted stay on PS3 only!! I also have a 360.. (dont know why) cause Bioshock, Mass Effect and GEOW (my favorite 360 games) are all better on the PC!! At least PS3 exclusives ARE EXCLUSIVES and WILL NEVER JUMP SHIP!! Scores? Meh, those are opinions only.

Keep in mind scores are opinions thats all. No one is getting owned in this thread except hardcore Lemmings (Forza 2 and PD0 only AAA exclusives after over two years) . Have a nice day!! By the way, PD0 is the crappyest game i played this gen so far!!

Pc gamers will never be able to play Uncharted, Motorstorm, R&C, and RFOM... NEVER!! To me, thats important.. keeping your exclusives exclusive unlike Bioshock, Mass Effect and my favorite Geow!! 360 has PD0, Halo3 and Forza 2 as AAA.. WOW lol!!!!

Personally, 360's best games are multiplat!!!

Actually, near as I can tell everything in gamerankings uses a decimal place EXCEPT the summary page, where they give a rounded score as a quick hit banner I'd imagine.

Well then, grab your calculator and get to work! Whatever numbers come after the .8 though, I guarantee that it won't magically make that 89.8 become 90.0.

What Casey failed to realize is that while that might be true on a review by review basis, the act of creating an average is not a review excercise, it's a math exercise, and an accurate average of the reviews reveal.... I just had to say one more thing in response to this post... I also have taken university level math, and not ONCE was it ever acceptable to round to the nearest whole number, 2 decimal places was always the minimum, and has been since grade 9... maybe grade 10.
