2.5 million and selling (better than the ps3. EVEN IN JAPAN!!). it may not be doing well this year, but it's doing better than the pos3.

WOW!! M$ sold 200 units more than sony in 1 week because some lame flight sim came out! WOW! That must add to the 2 million sold this year compared to the 5-6 million PS3s sold this year before the 40G price drop even kicked in. Man M$ has shown that there system is not becoming stagnant!

That just goes to show that M$ fan boys have no taste in gaming what-so-ever. I mean come on, they chose Halo as they're Holy Grail. Halo sucks (yes I have a xbox and played it).

there is a valid argument in the whole "quantity of sales != quality" though, regardless of the quality of a product, i mean the ps3 sold 5million+ consoles in its first year right? must make it a great system! and for the halo 3 argument, there are a great many people who bought halo 3 simply because it's called halo 3, not because they looked at the previews and reviews and thought about "how it compares to other games" or how balanced it is or the quality or variety of game modes or whether the AI was perfect or etc. etc. etc., star wars prequels sucked ass but they still broke records for sales, so take it as that: a legit argument

whether or not it applies to the "lame flight sim" vs. "ratchet flop" is a whole other story, but imo they are 2 totally different games with 2 totally different buyers involved, i'm sure some of those buyers of AC might not like Halo 3 or Mass Effect or even Gears of War, and that buyers of Ratchet might not like Uncharted or MGS4 or FF13... which is why i'm tired of the comparison anyways, as all it means is "there's more flight sim fans on the xbox 360 than there are ratchet & clank fans on the ps3"
