Exactly.

MGS4 isnt going to use the PS3's full potential, especially this early in the generation. God of War 2 was the best looking PS2 game there is, (in my opinion) and it came 7 years after the first PS2 game was released. By the end of this generation we'll see much prettier games.

Besides, even if Uncharted is what the PS3 looks like when it's topped out, I think I'll be quite content. :)

Yeah, MGS4 is kind of a Sandbox game on a similar level to Crysis or something.

Mission based, and you're free to do objectives however you want in whatever order you feel like most of the time. And at the same time it puts in an epic story at the same time.

So much for the Mighty RSX... err, I mean RSX + Cell combo. The man that almost everyone regards as one of the greatest developers out there, claims to have used 100% of the PS3's power - including teh Cell. The result, a game that is not as large as he wanted, AI not as expansive, textures not as high resolution.

He claims that he was MISLED about the POWER of the PS3. Is it going to far to think that all of the videogame fanboys may have been misled about capabilities of the PS3 also???

You are basing this on a game that has not been released yet. A console's power is not purely put into graphics, gameplay needs to be considered. Please reserve your blind fanboyism and wait til the game is released before passing objective judgement. Thanks, next please?

He was misled, because he never knew the real tech specs. He designed the game originalyl without even knowing what he was working with. It's like creating a painting without knowing your canvas or paint or brush.

Uncharted has become the Gears of War for the PS3. Whenever one game fails to live up to the hype visually, fall back on Uncharted. :)

A lot of people seem to have forgotten that, in the days before awesome graphics, games were rated on fun? Aslong as the game has mildly good graphics, I'll give it a shot.

Well if you want to look at it in a more rational sense, think about what happened with the PS2.

Compare the first games to come out on that to the last, for example GoW, and well really that should answer your question. I still believe the 360 has a little more to push (not much) but there is still more. The PS3 has only been out for just over a year worldwide, I think people are forgetting this...

I think it still has some way to go..
