Has this gen changed your top three all time games?

COD4 changed the way I played FPS, the whole create your own class/perks setup was huge for me. I was in complete love with COD4. The Witcher 2 is close to making my top 3 as well, but the garbage combat holds it back.

Yes. My #1 favorite game of all time is now DiRT 2. Red Dead Redemption is #2. I think my #3 is probably Tony Hawk's Underground.

RDR is the only title this gen to creep into my top 10, but I have yet to play Arkham City, so that may change.

Changed it? I am not sure. It defintiely added some into my list of 10's though (although some of my favorites are 9.5's from me too). I will TRY and order my 10's though to see if the top three changed.

Super Mario Galaxy 2 however makes a very strong case for my top 3 (probably replace it with SMB). However, still haven't played all the games this gen that have interested me.

Its hard for me to place my top 3, but I know MGS3 is definitely in there.

Super Mario 64 is also in there.

I don't know about Call of Duty 4, it was amazing, but I feel like it was missing a few pieces (co-op and the ability to open doors) compared to its competition at the time (Crysis, Halo and Rainbow Six). Its definitely top 5 though, but I'm stuck between that, several GTA games (IV, San Andreas and III), Red Dead Redemption, Fallout 3 and the Zeldas. All amazing, but I don't want to snub any one of them.

Just know that in my top 3, I definitely have Super Mario 64 and MGS3.

Great top 3 my friend!

The only game to creep into maybe my top 10 from this gen is Mass Effect and possibly Skyrim (still playing it and loving it).

Top 3 are:

1.Shenmue 1 and 2

2. Zelda OoT

3. Final Fantasy VII

Half Life 2 and it's episodes (is that considered this gen?) might be a contender, along with Mass Effect 2.

To be fair I don't really know what my top 3 is anyway. MGS3 would be at number 1 but there are too many high quality games to choose from.

I'm not sure, but this gen has these strong contendors for the top spot

I've owned a lot of consoles over the years. I can't really say I have a top 3 favorite games.I have a top 3 favorite series Zelda Mario and Metroid. I have 90 PS3 games and games like Mass Effect 2and Red Dead Redemption bore the hell out of me. Tonight Istarted playing Zelda Wind Waker and couldn't put it down.

Not my top two which happen to be Xenogears and Planescape Torment, but the my third favorite title changed. Final Fantasy Tactics War of the Lions was my third until I played Tactic Ogre Let Us Cling Together (PSP version)
