Has too human shown anything impressive gameplay or graphcially?

Yup. I seem to be the only person here who gives a damn about the game. Unlike most people here, I have kept up with the latest news on the game, and I must say, it looks rather impressive. The gameplay looks very interesting; it will have the RPG (levelling, phat lewt) elements of Diablo and the combat of Ninja Gaiden or Devil May Cry. In addition, the graphics are somewhat superior to those of the original UE3.

Previews released since the disastrous E3 06 have been very laudatory in regards to this game as well (IGN, Gamespot, the most recent one from 1up, etc.).

Finally, to the people who say "8 hour campaign", Dennis Dyack has stated that it will be 25-30 hours.

Cows: do not take such easy prey to bash (and it'll probably turn out very good in spite of the bashing!); it may lead to less enmity between the groups on System Wars, and I cannot see how that would not be a good thing.

The graphic are decent. Right now, Gears of War is considered 'decent'. And this game looks better than Gears of War. Clunky fighting system? What are you basing your statement from? The majority of previews that stated otherwise?FrozenLiquid

The graphics are on par with Gears...not better. Maybe you can link me to the previews and videos that show this magnificent gameplay?I have a lot of faith in this game,I really want it to be good,i've been anticipating it since the day it was announced. That's been a while ago and I haven't seen nothing that impressive from the game. I guess the graphics are better than "decent",but I dont really care about those...I want the gameplay. In the first interview that was in one of the GameInformers the devs went on about how the combo system has so much depth...how you and a friend can do crazy combos both ground and aerial. So please,do link me to some interesting things,im starting to lose faith in the game.

Too Human is a total ''wait and see'' game. I would basically have 0 expectations for it, good or bad. A mix of Diablo and DMC could really be a fantastic idea but I think people are way too high on Silicon Knights. They had Eternal Darkness and... that's pretty much it. Twin Snakes was largely a disappointment and they haven't done anything else of note. Having one fantastic game 6 years ago that has next to nothing in common with the game they have now while taking an eternity to release Too Human isn't that great of a track record.

The previews seem pretty universally positive but it's hard to get a read on that. Whoever decided that the Berzerker class video was a good thing to release needs to be fired but the other gameplay videos look solid enough. Looks like the camera could be a (big) issue.

Funny how I see far more people saying "Too Human doesn't deserve its hype" than people who are actually hyping it.

Me, I think it'll be good fun. It seemed like it would be revolutionary for a while and that's all gone now. But the story sounds interesting, and the combat is probably the largest scale ever attempted in an RPG. 4 player co-op will also be enjoyable.

Those vodeo's should WOW us because of gameplay, not because devs say they are wowed by their own concept......

And WHY are all the gaming journalists so unsure about the outcome of this game?

Do i want te game to be great? YES. Did i see ANYTHING that makes me believe it will be great? No.. nothing at all.
