Before E3, most gamers ( admitedly including myself) were making claims that the Xbox 360 was doomed in '09 with next to no great games, only more multiplats. Now that E3 has come and gone, has your expectations changed for the 360's '09 lineup and beyond?

My outlook on the 360's line surprisingly did not change. It still looks a little bare to me but whatever, its not bad or anything. Atleast E3 shut up all the "teh xbox 180 is fineeshed !!!1!111!" threads though.

No. I liked it before E3 and I still like it. If anything, this years E3 but the smash on the "rumor" that the 360 was only going to last a short tme. Which is a good thing because anyone with an ounce of good sense would have seen a long time ago that it would have been incredibly stupid of MS to do that anyway.

Honestly, what does the 360 have that's new for '09 that we didn't already know was coming?
We already knew about Forza 3, ODST, and Splinter Cell (fiscal year).
Left 4 Dead 2 was the only surprise.
With that said however, the 360's 2010 is looking a lot better.

Yes, with the whole Project NATAL thing and such. Other than that, absolutely not. There is nothing I want on the XBox 360 in up-coming future? Halo 3: ODST, Halo Reach, Alan Wake, and such? I'll pass.

Not at all, and don't forget that there will be more games that was not mentioned on E3 coming out.

Nope, my opinion has been that the 360 is awesome, and still it.

Though my opinion has changed on the PSP, now instead of hating it I really want one now. Just not a PSP GO!

Well Splinter Cell won a lot of E3 awards, ODST looks great, and Forza 3 looks like a good game for racing fans.

2010 DOES look better for the 360 with Mass Effect 2, Crackdown 2, Halo: Reach, and Alan Wake. And maybe Natal.

The amazing thing about Splinter Cell was people knew it was coming, but they had no idea how good it was going to be.That demo impressed a hell of a lot of people who wrote off the series. Me included.

Quality wise no. I think Floppy was referring to quantity though. Not that you didn't already know that.

Not really. While all those games are great, all of them(except Halo ODST) will be released for PC. I have more incentive to buy a gaming PC than a 360 right now, but I guess that wouldn't matter to MS, since they make money off of PC gamers. It's THEIR platform. Still think PS3/PC will be the best combination for me this gen, as soon as I get my gaming PC.

^Correct. The only things that have interested me are Splinter Cell: Conviction and Halo Wars/ODST. All are great but it's just 3 games. 2010 already has 4-5 360 games I'm looking forward to.

you do know that 360/PC games still play on 360 right?? as do the millions of multiplats, if either system didnt have ANY exclusives this year, it would still be a great year with all the great games coming to both systems. Limiting a console to only exclusives is just ...................well...........i dont know what to call it without getting modded  on a seperate note............why is GS so strict about language?? :(

Yeah, I think 2009 is the 360's incubation year. They have a few projects coming out, but the development schedule has bled into 2010. I think since it's release the 360 has been a solid performer and a weak year was inevitable. It's those first 2 years of the PS3, not much of anything spectacular was happening but look at this year...

Not much, i thought it was ok before, and i sitll think its ok.

Crackdown 2 made me excited and Splinter Cell 5 looks awesome ( Although i'll simply buy that for the PC :P )

The rest.. eh. Forza 3 LOOKS good, but i didn't like how Forza 2 played so im iffy about that. I dont like Halo much, Alan Wake didn't look to be that great, i'm skeptical about Natal

I don't know why people pay attention to that nonsense. You could clearly tell from the very beginning of this gen that all 3 consoles had a solid enough fanbase to keep it going for the duration.

I don't understand why people think that one year can possibly cause a console to collapse especially if its as well established as the Xbox brand. It's just not reasonable. If the Playstation 3 could survive its first year on the market (when it had almost no good games), surely the Xbox could survive this year.

My views didn't change though. I still think that the Xbox is a very strong brand. It's got great games and features. Now, I still prefer the Playstation 3, but that's just personal taste. That and I don't want to support a company knowingly pushing out faulty hardware.

The 360 games that i'm seriously going to buy didn't change, but I enjoyed seeing that they had a solid Fall 2009. It makes System Wars more interesting. Also, it's gonna be even funnier when people eventually say that there are no Fall 2010 games for the 360 because MS hasn't announced everything pre-E3.

I agree with that, it is like the PS3's 2007- still a decent year but the year after will blow it away. So it's all good.

Before E3, most gamers ( admitedly including myself) were making claims that the Xbox 360 was doomed in '09 with next to no great games, only more multiplats. Now that E3 has come and gone, has your expectations changed for the 360's '09 lineup and beyond?

No, I still feel the same today as I did two months ago. The 360 is way to unreliable for my purchase and every single game that it has that I want is either on or coming to the PS3 and/or PC. It would be a complete waste of money for me to buy a 360.

i was actually hoping they would announce more exclusive games at E3. because the only exclusive that actually looks good to me is Forza 3 and i think GT5 will do better. All of the "wait for E3" remarks and still no reason for me to want a 360.

This. Personally, I've never had a problem with MS and the Xbox (other than rabid lemmings), but I can admit when a game looks good. Being someone who doesn't OWN the console, I do own a copy of Left 4 Dead.

That being said, the only games that really did anything for me at E3 were Splinter Cell: Conviction and Alan Wake. Alan Wake is kind of iffy with me at the moment, but it looks interesting. I have absolutely no interest in the Halo games.

Forza 3, Halo ODST, SC Conviction, L4D 2....that is enough for me especially when 360 will also have superior multiplats like AC2 and MW2, it seems 2009 is yet another year of 360 for me since it will be the console ill buy most games on as usual

Nope, it is still the same PC-wannabe console with online fees and very few real exclusives that interest me, (with Fable 2 being my #1 and most of the others being on PC).

My good opinion about the 360 remains. But the graphics of Forza3, Alan Wake and Splinter Cell surprised me

What should my opinion change? I don't like racing sims and don't care much for halo. Is there anything else?
