I don't understand why people think that one year can possibly cause a console to collapse especially if its as well established as the Xbox brand. It's just not reasonable. If the Playstation 3 could survive its first year on the market (when it had almost no good games), surely the Xbox could survive this year.
My views didn't change though. I still think that the Xbox is a very strong brand. It's got great games and features. Now, I still prefer the Playstation 3, but that's just personal taste. That and I don't want to support a company knowingly pushing out faulty hardware.

This. Personally, I've never had a problem with MS and the Xbox (other than rabid lemmings), but I can admit when a game looks good. Being someone who doesn't OWN the console, I do own a copy of Left 4 Dead.
That being said, the only games that really did anything for me at E3 were Splinter Cell: Conviction and Alan Wake. Alan Wake is kind of iffy with me at the moment, but it looks interesting. I have absolutely no interest in the Halo games.
