[QUOTE="SpruceCaboose"][QUOTE="3picuri3"] he's taking the quote from epic out of context anyways, i wouldn't take it too seriously. cows love to try to spin that quote, here's the full quote: '"I'm not the technical guy... all I know is that with the two to three more years of optimization that we've had, we're much further along than I think, three years ago, we thought we were going to get. So I think we're certainly approaching the upper end of it, as far as what developers are able to do with it, but just looking at all the demos we saw today -- ours and others -- it's clear that all the games just keep improving, and keep pushing that bar. I think it's just a matter of, you know, it's a slow cycle; you only get a kick at it every couple years, and so it takes a while for people to see that progress."'ThewbaccaNot only that, but Cliff Bleszinski said, "[Rod Fergusson's] quote that was taken out of context," Bleszinski told Videogaming247. "I think we're pushing the 360, but the system's not going to get any more RAM, it's not going to get a faster processor, but at the same time that puts the impetus on our programmers and artists to be smarter with what they work with."
Bleszinski went on to compare the Xbox 360 life cycle to that of the Super Nintendo console; graphics gradually increased in quality and just as it seems to reach its limit someone uses "ninja code tricks" to push more out of the system. "It's amazing what programmers can do. I wouldn't count our guys out yet," Cliff added.
So, he's comparing a system of coding that had been working with a standard console, but was untried, and was thuis able to get more things out of it (Like the NES, the Playstation 2, etc.) to a system of coding that was ages old, and relies on new hardware to make it sparkle (the 360, which is based on PC coding, which we already know well enough). Whichever way you slice it, that system has peaked, while th other three still have better years ahead of them. Why is it that only the 360 has peaked? you're telling me that the Wii still has yet more to give?
It's obvious that you despise the 360 and that's why people will be taking your opinions with a grain of salt mate. No offence but you just sound like a die-hard cow!
