Games like AC2 look nearly as good as uncharted on a multiplat engine as well, and it is bigger and has more people on screen with more A.I interaction. Also, U.E engine is working at a multiplat engine level for the 360 so not much optimization..

Most of the third parties have maxed out there engine on X360. And MS don't have any first party devs, so we probably won't see the 360 completely maxed out for a while.

Maxing out a console entails developing an engine designed for the consoles hardware and then tweaking it until it is no longer possible to make any gains.

Neither the PS3 nor the Xbox 360 have been maxed out. Maybe they will towards the end of the generation however I don't think we can expect to see the max of either console anytime soon.

Ok I'm back... now when you talk about games and graphics do you really think that grow1 don't look damn near the same as grow2.. now you can go to ign.com and find out where bungie siad the 360 was maxed out... I put this thread up here just to see if anybody else was think that it maxed out.. For all this talk about halo reach have anyone seen any real gameplay on this game... don't tell me it don't look like the same @ss halo from before... and alan wake don't look that good at all.. Now someone said that killzone 2 maxed out the ps3..(I'm just talkin about graphic s here not game play).. if so why do unchated 2 look so damn good... And why do heavy rain look so good as well... Now maybe masseffect 2 will push the 360 at some point... Why do the scale of m.a.g look so crazy... Let's try not to forget about the last guardian... SC:S lost me about two games ago.. They don't know what there doin with that franchise... I always liked the 360 but I just stop pushing the system.. bloombergmoney
