Have you ever been addicted to a game?

I'm so engrossed in Dark Souls, it's all I think about. Even when the game pisses me off and I rage quit I still go back like a fiend.

CS. I haven't played it in a while now so that's a good thing.

No. I can't play a single game longer than 90 minutes in one session without getting bored.

Even if I didn't get bored, I would still probably quit and do something else. It took me about 4 months to beat Uncharted 2 and GOW3. :P

There was this one time I was addicted to the Resident Evil series. In like a week I had bought and finished all games both mains and spin-offs.

Yeah I'm hooked on Dark Souls also. I rarely loose my temper playing games but I scream at the tv playing Dark Souls. As much as the game pisses me off I can't stop playing it.

Once. Guild wars. Played it for 4,000 hours. Got fatter than I was. Luckely ever since I took a break from gaming, I've become skinny. Hopefully guild wars 2 won't make me fat again.

Quake 1, 2 and 3! It was a blast, editing package files so we can have custom skins made on paint. :)

I was addicted to TFC for about 6 years lol. especially competitive play. I loved playing both 9vs9 and 5vs5 competitively, and would be involved in at least 3-4 leagues at once.

now my addiction has shifted towards single player games - specifically danmaku shmups. I love getting wrecked and eventually overcoming the insane bullet spreads that intially own me. At the moment I've been sinking a lot of my time into akai katana shin, but I'll probably go back to ketsui soon.

Not anymore though? I have it but haven't played too much due to Dark Souls. Demon's Souls/Dark Souls got me by the balls.

I'm experiencing that with Skyrim right now :)

Diablo 2 and Age of Empires 2 for a period of about 2 years. WoW for a year. Modded Oblivion and most recently Skyrim.

Currently, I'm more or less addicted to League of Legends.

On pc with mods or something? I've explored every single location on the map, done all none bugged quests (missed some too but not many) and i had 148h in it (360's version). What could uou be doing for an additional 200h i really don't know :?

I'm on my 9th playthrough and yes with Mods.

Well I just got Morrowind so there is that.

Before that I was addicted to Team Fortress 2 and pluged in 295 hours into it and it's still going strong. Before that was Champion's Online with 104 hours, then the Just Cause 2 DEMO (mind you) and I played that for about 100 hours. Then there is the Mafia 2 demo with 91 hours and finally Portal 2 with 47 hours and will still be counting as I have yet to achieve all achievements in the game. :)

Yes. Flight Simulator X. I love punching in real-world weather observations and see how FSX renders them.

MGS2, MGS3, MGO1, Chaos Theory (online), Ninja Gaiden Black, SMB3 and SotN just to name a few.

Probably Fallout 3. I put in something like 100 hours in it on just one go before the DLC, just a few weeks of 2009, completely neglecting all my buddies begging me to play CoD4 with them and go out and not play Fallout 3 so much. I did play some CoD4 (otherwise my time would have been much higher), but overall I pretty much did everything there is to do in one playthrough, and even got through a couple more playthroughs.

The GTA games are also another game series I was potentiall addicted to. I can't even remember how many times I've played through them all or the hours spent screwing around.

Lately though, I tend to be restless. I don't like devoting too much time in one game, even on Skyrim I'm about halfway through, but its been like a week since I played because of Batman, Uncharted, RAGE, Dead Island and Portal 2 (also work and college and friends and stuff I suppose).

I'm still addicted to Persona 4.
