Have you ever cried during a game?

What kind of tears are we talking here?

Tears of frustration? Tears of anger? Joy? Laughter? Sadness?

Why on earth would the ending to MGS1 make you cry?

It was probably the absolutely beautiful ending theme 'The best is yet to come', which as far as I'm concerned is the best piece of original music ever, and I don't mean just within the realms of videogames. I was only 12 when I first played it and had never experienced such an incredible game, and when those credits rolled I couldn't help but get emotional.

I cried when I played Hour of Victory.

3 Saddest moments in gameplay to me were:

1) End of Chapter 1 of the Darkness...holy crap. Can't say I've been more depressed and determined to finish a game in my life.

2) SSGT Griggs and Gaz getting it brutally at the end of COD4. Those were probably the two best characters in the game and they both got it bad.

3) HL2: Episode 2 ending. Random, but sad.

I came very close in MGS3.

I'm proud to say that I didn't actually shed any tears. That BGM really got to me...

MGS4 was the first game that got me.

MGS3 came close.

Final Fantasy X made me go, "Woah". Not a tearful moment, but an uplifting excitement.

I forgot to add Half-Life 2 Episode 2's ending. Very emotional, but I didn't cry. More so angry.

Yes. While going for Overdrive on Rock Band, I accidentally hit myself in the nuts with my guitar. My eyes got a little watery at that point.

The only time I ever cried from a book, movie, or video game is... Lilo and Stich. Yes, yes, I know... But I was very little at the time.

Nope. The closest I've ever came was the end of Crisis Core...Even though I knew what would happen.

I often feel sad when a character dies or something, but I've never cried.

- Metal Gear Solid 4, the ending right before the credits roll

- Terminator 2 when arnold was lowered into the pit and melted himself while giving the thumbs up

- Gilmore girls series finally

- A.I. The ending

-Hook, when Rufio gets stabbed by Captain Hook

-the first time i put in geow and started playing it and saw how amazing the graphics were....... JK!! lol

-many others but i really cant remember at the moment
