Dead Rising. Awesome.
Viva Pinata. Also awesome.
Team Fortress 2. Occasionally good, if you're on a team with people who actually understand what they're doing. Nothing worse than having half your team as (poor) snipers when you're in offence.

I forgot Portal. Portal rocked.
Tons of good memories...
GEOW - amazing game, strong competitive multiplayer which is really fun with friends and coop was really fun, playing this game for the first time was a great experience.
Crackdown - Very entertaining. Despite its relatively low score here I loved this game. I laughed so hard playing coop with my friends, this game should not be overlooked by 360 owners.
Forza 2 - One of the best racers I have ever played. I loved this game. So much to do, a deep single player that lasts a very long time, great paint editor, and a deep multiplayer. This game never got stale.
Halo 3 - Don't need to say much about the multiplayer. Its fun.
Orange Box - HL2's complete single player experience along with Portal and TF2. This is a must have.
I'm not going to list any more games but I can. This is by far my favorite gaming generation.
Oh tonnes. The Beach landing on CoD2 was the first point I was impressed with this gen.
Stepping out into the big wide world of Oblivion for the first time and being like "Holy **** this game is big"
Gears of War online holds some of the best memories of my whole gaming life. I had a tonne of fun and can't possibly talk about it all here because I'd be here for hours.
And same with Halo 3. In addition, the Halo 3 campaign. :D
Setting myself an "Uno challenge" to get into the top 1000 in one of the leaderboards and unlock every single achievement by playing over 40 games to do so, and all the fun I had on the way with webcams.
Kicking everyone's ass in Pinball FX leaderboards. Woo.
First time I played Geometry Wars.
some hilarious times on Worms on XBLA.
First time I played Puzzle Quest.
Crackdown. Just. Crackdown.
Spending a day playing Dead Rising and Just Cause and not having laughed as much in ages.

My favorite this gen by FAAAR is BioShock. I love...the game a whole lot. My kind of game all the way and I absolutely worship the setting it has.
Dead Rising and Gears Of War were also amazing games which I really really enjoyed.

Tons of good memories playing Halo 3 with my buds online.
Portal blew my mind plus I havn't laughed at a game like i did at portal in a while.
And Command and Conquer 3 is one of the best things ever made. Crushing the GDI with Avatars and VertigoBombers never gets old. Can't wait to getthe expansion.
The feeling I had when I first popped in Halo 3
Playing Gears of War co-op with my friends
Popping in Twilight Princess for the first time
beating dead rising
gazing upon the epic landscape of oblivion
Jenny being executed right in front of you in The Darkness. :(
Not-A-Stalker
Indeed. That was maybe the first true "oh no they didn't" moment I've ever seen in gaming. All through that sequence I was hammering on the buttons, guessing that I'd eventually manage to get a nice, slimy tentacle of darkness into Paulie's throat. Then came the torture scene with Shrote, which was also quite memorable.
And the small quips during the load times. I got my first kiss down here with a prostitute named candy. She crossed her legs.... and broke my sunglasses. Now that I think of it, The Darkness in general was very memorable. Shame the gameplay dragged it a bit down - it had AAA potential.
There's also Bioshock. Wholly memorable game. Your encounter with Andrew Ryan is an incredible experience, and Cohen is hardly lagging behind. It's the whole of it: There's the music, there's the setting, the story, the atmosphere, and the graphics. Great example of how great graphics can improve gameplay.
Halo 3 is also up there, way up. The campaign itself hardly has any specifically memorable moments (the lack of cortana was truly a detractor), but those late night xbl co-op insanity sessions beat anything else I've experienced since november 2005.There's a lot more, of course.
I remember epic bouts in fight night, and Oblivion had a couple of those. Then there's portal and it's ending song.
-The moment after you complete 3/4 of Sander Cohen's masterpiece in BioShock, where you're beating back splicers with Tchaikovsky playing in the background.
-The final portion of The Battle of Pointe du Hoc in Call of Duty 2, played on Veteran mode, when reinforcements finally arrive.
-The Ultimate Heist quest in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.
-The Ark and The Covenant levels from Halo 3.
-The final battle of Half-Life 2: Episode Two.
