Haze = absolutely stunning

i know these screenshot are old but you have to amit haze looks amazing i mean just look at those JAW-DROPPING textures in the third screenshot!

meh, gameplay videos dont look quite as good. ut3 and COD4 will be worth picking up over haze.

Everyone but ps3 fanboys are gonna call it generic. Honestly itll be good, coming from a Wii/360 guy. The Timesplitters team will do amazing things.Legend_O_Dragon

Graphically Haze has always looked good but nothing I've seen of the gameplay makes me want to play it at all, and that has always been so, even when it was on 360 back ages ago, first revealed in an OXM... Looks thoroughly dull in the gameplay department, and FR should've stuck with Timesplitters as far as I'm concerned.

Plus I don't like the way the Haze developers gather attention for their game off the back of them being jerks and badmouthing other games and being all "We're going to take on Halo 3 and kick it's ass!" and stupid crap which makes PS3 fanboys giggle with glee but makes me go "wtf" and think less of them.

It has all the potential to be a good title:

Vehicles? Check.

Graphics? Check.

Interesting weapons/abilities? Check.

AI? Well, probably not spectacular but just as good as most shooters.

its PS3 exclusive now... well actually i dont know if its still coming to the PC.

ps3 in november, and the 360 and PC are up in the air. They talked about them once and havnt mentioned the 360 version or the pc version for like 8 months

Funny, I just read an interview with Rob Yescombe the other day when he said they aren't competiting with Halo 3. :| And if you're thinking about the article I think you are, no one from FRD said anything in there. It was all some crappy journalist from an obscure website looking for attention.

Tsk tsk tsk. The whole point of Haze is to not present who is the bad guys and good guys in black and white. It probably does seem that Mantel is the bad guys, but wait until you play the game. FRD says that there is another huge plot twist, so anything could happen. :P

Unless the Twist is that you're actually in WWII in an alternate reality, that the Rebel Leader is Hitler (who is a woman) and that the final boss is a giant Baby Seal who uses a pointy stick to jab you...I don't think it'll be anything special.

Haze scriptwriter Rob Yescombe is about to become very unpopular with just about anyone who has an Xbox Live account. He recently poked the fanboy nest when he told Edge magazine that he thought of Halo as "brilliant, but you're a teenager" and suggested that the Free Radical shooter he's working on is more "mature" stuff.

It's about what's happening in the world today - it's ludicrous, and how can you make something that doesn't reflect that? Well, you could bury your head in the sand and make Halo 3, but the fact of the matter is there are more important things at stake.
