Haze vs Crysis Graphics Comparison! WOW!

/\ Personally the most interesting thing is the whole 'nectar' drug stuff - how you can overdose, and how if affects your mind. NOt to mention how the rebels use this against the corporation soldier dudes.

Comparing Haze to Crysis is an insult and should never be done, period.

That's a rather haphazard excuse.

One needs to see clear Haze pics to make a proper comparison.

WOW i must be one of the very few who thinks its a close call. Crysis does have the edge but then they are running on a machine thats alot of money with top of the range hardware. I think its a great attempt by the team behind haze because it does look nearly as good as crysis.

Crysis just looks a bit smoother imo thats about it. But crysis cant help the fact the ppl look like **** and i laughed when the guy picked that dude up cus that really did look bad LOL

i think that crysis looks better when you actually look at the pics and not at their thumbnails, which im sure has to do with its bigger and better textures.

how ever haze is a good game for the ps3 though it is never was intended to be a halo killer, it seems that reserved for killzone 2 ;)

Ill start by saying Haze is a good looking console game, but it in no way comes close to crysis.

Very impressive, and good comparison shots that are similar.

no, crysis looks amazing, and haze lookws good, but in detail crysis looks MUCh better. These screens are way too small to tell the real difference.

I'm nowhere near as impressed with Crysis as I used to be. Yes it still looks amazing and is huge in scale but I'm sorry... KZ2, COD4 and almost even Haze impress me just as much if not more with what they have going on.tomarlyn

Well then you must be easily ammused because CoD4 isa blurfest in multiplayer with bad textures, boring drownish spawn + kill with overpowered perks and near to no variety ot strategy other than "Which spots best to camp".

While Crysis maintains its graphical assests, has a huge array of weapons and accesspories the nano suit, the cool ammount of different vehicles (some with Alien technology) and well ... the Nuclear War heads that a player can fire either from a NAT launcher (Bazooka ... LARGE) or a Singularity Tank) that makes a huge mushroom cloud that shakes your screen violently, gives off very loud and violent sounds and you can even see the air particles/distortion/explosive ring sweep acros the entire map ... ... even though the maps are huge, you will never NOT notice a nuke wherever you are... you just cant.

haze is not even close.

I think that both games will do very well after all, Haze is created by the guys who made TimeSplitters, GoldenEye 007, and the first Perfect Dark. Then we have Crysis that was made by the FarCry guys. No doubt that Crysis has way better graphics then Haze but we will wait which is a better game though. After all graphics doesn't always make game play better.

By the way ya the screen shots for both games are old. Just go to the gamespot pictures for both of them to see the newer ones.

what was that??... lol haze looks pretty good, though i think cysis is still better (though haze looks better in these sceens in some ways)

Crysis wins of coruse, stupid question. It is graphically generation ahead. All with at v.high and a PC worth less than 1000$ and running at 30-40fps at 1280*720p. Cant believe people are comparing Haze to it , HAze a game i woudl actually class as last-gen. Despite some nice parts due to art layout it fails mastodontically!

Even Far Cry can run against haze and surpass Hazes 80% prebaked shadows, overbloom and low-res textures.
