HD has ruiend my eyes.

I became a graphics lover. Ever since I got my 360 2 weeks ago I hate horrible graphics. I tried to play PS2 game it felt like my eyes were burning. I tried to play Mario Galaxy it couldn't play that either. The PS3 and 360 have destroyed me playing games with bad graphics. Suliman-Uchia

yeah im playing mgs 1 on my ps3 and hdtv and saw how crappy it looked and I figured "well it is a ps1 game" but then i saw some pics on the internet and it looks much better than what my hdtv is projecting. Even when I put smoothing on it still looks like crap.

regardless the game has still been incredible

PS: are you using composite cables for your wii? this can be the reason why smg doesn't look good on your hdtv, get these cables and it will look great

To me, Super Mario Galaxy destroys everything on the 360 in terms of graphics except Kameo and Viva Pinata. What can I say, I like color. :Pyellowandmushy

really shadow of collossus?!?! THATS GREAT TO HEAR... i hope your right though cause I remember seeing SotC on hd in a sony store and it looked pretty bad

I think GOW 2 had hd opomization, there was a cheat to display the game in hd, plus the cinematics were 480p

i never got this.

ive played crysis at very high settings (using the XP hack) at HD reses on this PC at a pretty respectable framerate. frankly it floors anything on a console from a technical perspective.

ive played uncharted, halo3 and gears on a HD telly at 720P and they all look great.

yet i still have no problem playing games on an SD telly. i love the look of mario galaxy and okami, imho, is a better lookign game than the vast majority of next gen games. i recently got pikmin 2 for my wii and i absolutely love it too bits.

i wont deny myself a good game for the simple reason that its not in HD or its not technically massively sophisticated. i coudlnt care less. as long as the game is good then im there, playing away and enjoying myself. i love puzzle quest and advance wars on DS and those use 2d sprites. still crackin games.

haha hd always spoils the eyes. Just take a few days off gaming and it will all be good again. I'm almost immune to hd LOL.

I haven't found that at all. The best looking 360 and PS3 games these days look so detailed and clean.

Going back to last generation is where it bothers me with some games. So much of the graphics look really washed out and the aliasing is not pretty. But the GoW games still look really good. I recently finished GoW2.

I also find it kind of hard to go back and play last gen games. They look really inferior when you start playing them sometimes, then you get into it and it goes away.

Super Mario Galaxy looks really good. The more you get into it, the more you appreciate its beautiful, flashy visuals. I think the excellent use of colour plays a big part. They really used their imaginations to make the most of the Wii's capabilities too.

Sucks to be you. Can't say it's a good thing being a graphics whore. Guess if you tried Crysis on full settings, you couldn't go back to playing 360 games. :| I've been reliving past gens ever since this gen started and loving every moment.

... i don't blink during matches. Then, when i've won(and i always do :D), my mind is free to focus on other, less important things; and that's when the burning sets in!

HD is a pretty amazing thing. It's only natural to love it because it''s closer to our natural and comfortable vision (especially in movies). The standard DVDs and 480p games have really been downgrades the whole time, but we put up with them because we had no choice. But now we do. I am sold on HD and it's definitely not going anywhere.

The difference between HD and upscaled 480p resolutions is so small yet once you see the difference it's hard to go back, especially when it comes to television.

My older DVR will only hold around 15 hours of HD but I still choose that over recording any in the old resolutions.
