Wow thats funny! Im playin HS over GEOW and Dead Rising! I guess i should stop playing HS and trade in my PS3? 360 has tons of games but onlyfour are good games. R&C come out in a few weeks, then Uncharted a few weeks later, YOU FAILED!!!

I hate button mashers too but HS is amazing. I hate NG, i hate most button mashers, but HS is amazing imo. Like i said before, UT3, Haze, Uncharted and R&Care coming withineight weeks, pick your poison. "PS3 ha no games", lmao!! Oh yea, Warhawk is kinda fun.

Well if you mean number of failures then yes Sony has the better hardware but if you get the new 360s with the HDMI ports on them your pretty safe since they contain all the new heat syncs to keep it cool. As far as Gaming hardware well just look at most multiplatform games and you can tell 360 is the better gaming console.

never played god of war, so my experience was akin to dynasty warriors, hack and slash a thousand of the same looking guys, move on to the next area and repeat. except less japanese and with better voicing.

Ninja Gaiden HAS no story beyond a ninja going around killing people to get a sword back. The opening scene of Heavenly sword has more character development than the entirety of Ninja Gaiden.

I had Ninja Gaiden, and I have Sigma and I have Heavenly Sword. They are entirely different games. I don't normally side with Renegade here, but I'd rather play Heavenly Sword any day of the week rather than the button mashing always dodging angerfest that is Ninja Gaiden. Also, the cutscenes aren't very long in Heavenly Sword, suprisingly on the same amount, one just utilizes it better.

I'm glad you don't buy games for character development, but your avatar seems to say otherwise.

360 is greater than PS3, but for christ sakes, not every game on the PS3 sucks and not every game on the 360 kicks ass, I know you gotta represent Microsoft and all.

long drawn out cutscenes? have you played heavenly swords? it does a nice job of mixing cutscense with gameplay the best i have ever seen ina game and the gameplay is not that bad especially if you actually try to master the combos. i don't know how any can like gow and not like this game. this game is better then gow and ninja gaiden imo because of the great combination of story, graphics and gameplay.

I concur as well.....there is basically NO story in the NG games....it's pretty awful. I haven't played HS so I don't know about that....but there are barely any characters worth nothing outside of Ryu and the story is pathetic at best.

I have never said that the 360 is better than the PS3. sure the library is better at the moment, but I have no doubt things will be better for the PS3. As for Heavenly Sword, it just doesn't do anything for me. It's just a derivative action game with high production values that is way too short.

On character development: I wasn't too clear about that..It has it's place. In RPG's, character development is very important because it is part of the game mechanic. It isthe primary function of an RPG. In an action game it should be secondary, ALWAYS. Why? Because it's an ACTION game, it's meant to be played, not watched. So when the production value of cutscenes become more important than the gameplay in an action game, there is a problem. Hell, it's a problem with any game for that matter...

back on topic though....good idea what with Halo3, Mass Effect and PGR4 coming out, the PS3's weak AA lineup offers nothing truly worthy of your time. Best to invest that money into a system that has more to offer and has an impressive '08 line up to boot as well (so does the PS3, but 1 good FALL season can't make up for one horrible first year).

Same here,It story looks deep and how its told look marvelous i played the demo and fell in love with it. its true about Ninja Gaiden Story... its has no thought or anything jus a mindless hack and slash that takes luck* to dodge attacks. Is wear it does played the demo IM LIKE WTH DODGE THE NINJA DOGS! The ninjas look lack lust...

Definitely not into R and C and Uncharted looks like a Idiana Jones ripoff/bust to me. Now Mass Effect looks likea game. I am not even worried about Halo 3...just Mass Effect.Bones82

I'm playing Warhawk, GRAW2, Heavenly Swordand RB6V on my PS3, how exactly is this waiting for games??? if anything the PS3 has too many games.
