There were a few complaints about it being repetitive in the review. More so from other sources, too.

$10 an hour... No replay value... Repetitive and linear... Is what I got from reading the review... So why did it get an 8.0? Should have gotten a 7.0.

yes but before those reviews what was the hype? exactly go look at the official hype for it. I believe it says AAA so what does that mean? Btw 8.0 is a good score im not saying its a bad game

We've all accepted ownage already!! He's just stating that gamespot rescued this title after it looked like a major flop, hell most accepted ownage after igns review, and started cancelling their preorders. (Its still a flop according to hype, but a great fame nontheless)

Not bad. I thought it was going to get a 6 or 7 after IGN's review.

Pity it couldn't have been longer. I'll probably get it once it's fairly cheap.

Actually it is possible with the combination of Lair and now Heavenly Sword, I think it makes the cows look more pathetic. Besides these games have not been getting AAA nearly as much as Metroid on other sites. Especially Lair.

Being a 360 and PS3 owner, it just seems that GS loves to brown nose the 360 like no other.

Gripping about length the other things are so minute. I think GS is getting a bit rediculous about their ratings on some PS3 games. GoW wasn't long at all, I finished that quick, but no complaint? GoW had the same guys over and over and over with the same attacks, no complaints?

Not to mention Gears of War has hidden trinkets to find, Dog Tags, and alternate routes so replaying the game isn't dull. Gears of War also has achievements. That's not even going into the fact that Gears of War has co-op, online co-op, and online multiplayer. Try picking a different game for your damage control.

That's fine that you don't like it. I'm just pointing out that Gears of War is not a 7 hour game, or even a 14 hour one.

I think cows are getting use to flops so what else can they do and just accept it. I also think cows are losing confidence. I doubt they will hype any PS3 exclusive game coming out this year and early next year to be triple A. I could've swore every game that came out that flopped were hella hyped to be triple A (Gears Of War killer) Warhawk, Lair, Heavenly Sword, Uncharted, etc. No real exclusive PS3 game will be hyped triple A this year ever again. Only the hardcore blind cows will do so.
