Heavenly sword=most overrated graphics ever

Freeman you should go work for 2kgames and start working on a bioshock sequal where you fight dozens of big daddys at the same time in a giant open city with every inch of the ceiling covered in light bulbs to ensure everything is well lit and there are no buildings and the water is 100% clear so you can see forever through the water to all the beautiful textures in the distance.

I don't know where cows began thinking HS was the console graphics King but HS just isn't. Don't get me wrong, HS looks great, but please don't tell me you think it looks better than bioshock or GeoWFrostbite24

They do think that, that's what's scary. Even after Lair flopped, some of them still tried to say it looks better than Gears. And what's the only thing they're hyping Uncharted for? The graphics, naturally. Cows are so predictable.

i love bioshock for me is the best current gen game today but is almost a corridor shooter, with alot of shadows and very slow pace

however the gameplay and everything in bioshock is great but the graphics are not better than heavenly sword thats why im trying to say

i said it before and i said again BS AND GEAR are always in dark, small corridors. with a few enemies and waiting for a couple of minutes for action

HS beat those 2 in graphics however in gameplay is another thing

i love bioshock more

So after hearing all the raving about heavenly sword and how its graphics supposably WTFPWNBBQ gears graphics, I decided to check it out.

WOW... even on an HDTV the textures look like absolute crap.

low res ground and walls hurt my eyes. Its a decent to average looking game at best compared to the games on my 360, but I guess on the PS3 its all they really got. Comparing this game to gears is like comparing goldeneye to halo. Warioware may very well have better textures than HS. Youd think that with no online and 5 hour single player they could at least get some non ugly textures.

Waah waaah waaaah I played this game just to have a reason to bash it (probably a demo at a store on top of that), and looked for something to dislike about it. I can only afford one console, so I need to validate my purchase by making posts like this.

Why did you show in game screens of PDZ and Gears, and a cutscene of HS? Didnt you see the earlier post of the very average, but well lit (I guess) HS screens? There are a lot of games that look better. HS has nice animations, though, I'll give it that

HS has great animations during cutscenes, but not in-game. HL2's are all in-game and do look better than HS's in-game. Fact!

I will agree that I was quite unhappy with the background graphics during the cut-scenes. Otyher than that, it looks awesone. Look at the ground and enviroments in gears. Textures aren't that great, homey.
