Wow announcing dlc before the game even releases  talk about cahones. Any respecting gamer would not buy this game that is absolutely rediculous. At least most companies have respect enough for us to pretend it wasn't ready before the game releases :P seriously though that's stupid

Nice, DLC announced before release. Why couldn't they just include this in the original package? Ugh, I'll skip this one.

I find it pretty sad that more and more developers are following this idiotic trend.

Normal DLC, except they actually own up to having DLC ready before the game is released.

[QUOTE="PannicAtack"]Ughh. It's one thing when GTAIV says that they're going to have episodic DLC. There's also the matter of Team Fortress 2, which is exactly the way that DLC should work. It's another thing entirely when they start on it before the game is even released, in a transparent attempt to get more money off of it! It's like in Dragon Age: Origins, where you have to pay an extra ten bucks for something that should've been in the game already!

People believe DLC is a honest spontaneous effort?

This gets on my nerves every single time, DLC announced before the release? I'll be buying this once the price drops.

They're telling people the game isn't complete before it's even out. I'm sure they can fit it all on the blu-ray.

The Heavy Rain Chronicles

First of all, I'm pleased to confirm that Heavy Rain will be supported by some very interesting downloadable content – The Heavy Rain Chronicles.

These are a series of additional, fully-playable scenes, where you'll learn more about the backstory of some of the characters you'll meet in Heavy Rain itself. The first episode will centre on Madison – and the setting will be familiar to those of you who have been following the progress of Heavy Rain closely…

Heavy Rain: Chronicle One – The Taxidermist sees Madison Paige investigating a suspicious and reclusive taxidermist, and finding herself unexpectedly in grave danger.

The episode is an expansion and update of the original 'Taxidermist' demo that received such a positive response when shown at E3 and gamescom last year.

Chronicles One and Two will be available for download from the PlayStation Store after the launch of Heavy Rain early next year – although there will be some opportunities to get hold of the episode a little earlier.

Europe gets it for free in the CE, $4.95 in the US.

This is horrible

Devs announcing DLC even before the game is released = fail

Some feel they have to or people will trade their games in after the first few weeks. The longer people hold onto Heavy Rain to see what the dlc is , the better for them.

Why not include it on the disk then?

Or if they wanted to do that, make the DLCs free.

This sucks. Can we at least download the European DLC for free? I have a UK account. I don't like Teh Milkage this gen either. I'm already paying $60 for the game! I'll wait until it goes down to ~$30 just for this.

The first chronicle called 'The Taxidermist' is free if you pre-order the game in the US.

It's this scene...
