As much as I am looking forward to Heavy Rain and I know you want to show up the 360 fans because some of them have been bashing it, 1/100 of a score is hardly anything to sing and dance about. I am happy to see Heavy Rain getting good reviews though :D

Anyway, there isn't much point in comparing the games since there will always be staunch supporters of both games. Can't we just concede that both games are incredible?

Evidently some of us do. I like how heavy rain beat ME2 by 1 point. Just made my day. Oh and before we forget ME2 will be coming to the PS3, but when? Any one know? My 360 will work but I have to literally take a screw driver to open up my disk tray half the time.

The OP never said anything about Heavy Rain being a commercial success and any gamer with a brain knows that sales do NOT always equate to quality.

I think Heavy Rain will have great reviews but abysmal sales. I mean if games like Infamous and Ratchet have a hard time getting above 1 million sales and Uncharted 2 just barely 2.5million, I have serious doubts about this one. I mean, how do you even advertize it if U2 didn't manage?:?

2.5 million sales is good. They can't all sell like Halo, FF or GT.
Good for Heavy Rain, really excited to see that game getting good reviews. Although, I'm not holding my breath at the idea that Heavy Rain will outscore ME2 overall or even on Gamespot

Good score. I am sure Heavy Rain will have some great reviews when all is said and done, but that will not make the game any more appealing for me personally.

Apparently PS3 owners hardly buy their games at all. Just look at the exclusives sales figures. I kid. I kid. This thread is a joke anyway.
Some of the best, most unique games don't sell well so you can't use sales as an argument without insulting groundbreaking games like Grim Fandango, Psychonauts, Shadow of the Colossus etc. Plus the hype surrounding Heavy Rain might guarantee at least a moderate sales success, but I think the critical reception matters most and its definitily looking to be an AAA around here and above 85 on metacritic.
Certainly they are, but: a) German gaming preferences may be different that other countries and b) I don't read or speak German, so I can't translate the article.
