@XVision84: Neither.
It just means Microsoft is begging Sony for help and Sony said yes in exchange for some cloud servers.
Sony is the nice guy in this story. Lems should be grateful.
Such a delusional fanboy. Fanboys like this are just a rut to gaming.
Now please quote one of the 4 poster i just quoted on my last post and cry about what they say of sony.
Again when you attack just 1 side and ignore the other you are been a blind sided fan as well.
Sir you are an idiot if you believe this nonsense. Never mind you truly are an idiot. This is pretty easy to read that Sony knows their network infrastructure sucks and Microsoft has a killer network infrastructure. Microsofts cloud services right now are killing it.
Now I can only hope Sony helps Microsoft figure out how to make some great 1st party games. HAHA!
Also this is a huge win for Microsoft Azure! Sony is just damn smart about it and understands that it would cost way to much money to create a service like Azure or AWS.
And here it is clear as day the reason why you will not say shit about those who flame sony.
PSN is fu**ing OK it has no problems at all and millions of gamers play on the network every damn day,in fact more people play on PSN than on xbox live just so you know this pathetic bullshit of PSN suck is totally embedded on lemmings minds.
The PS4 online works just fine and since day 1 is doing cross play with PC without problems and basically every crap that live does.
The only reason why sony is doing this is because of money,is cheaper to run games on azure than build your own damn network or expanding it,is 2019 is not 2006 the whole crap about PSN sucking is play out by now.
This move is totally about money.
As part of the memorandum of understanding, Sony and Microsoft will also explore collaboration in the areas of semiconductors and AI. For semiconductors, this includes potential joint development of new intelligent image sensor solutions. By integrating Sony’s cutting-edge image sensors with Microsoft’s Azure AI technology in a hybrid manner across cloud and edge, as well as solutions that leverage Sony’s semiconductors and Microsoft cloud technology, the companies aim to provide enhanced capabilities for enterprise customers.
This is a 2 way deal and i am surprise of how much say is say about PSN,and how you people ignore how MS will use Sony's cutting edge image sensors for azure cloud and edge.
There was a 2019 GDC I forgot which title but they basically had to use Sony's cameras because it's one of the most advanced for motion capture.
