nah... i think Gamespot will actually review the game for what it is not what they wanted it to be... IGN's review quite honestly sucks... Just read it... It's an all around bad review... I expect a minimum of 7.5 and probably a AA from Gamespot.

I knew it, after the abysmal demo I dont think anyone should be surprised. The online play might be fun but the fact that your not getting the full package unless you pay monthly makes this one a pass for even the most hardcore RPG enthusiasts.

The game is way better than that if you liked and still like Diablo.... It is a next gen Diablo and the gameplay IS dated but for what it does it does an absolutely fantastic job. THIS is why I trust PC Gamer over everyone else.... IGN came in expecting some RPG modeled after today's gameplay but they got Diablo in a next gen setting. Sadly, they didn't recognize it... They even complained there was too much action and not enough story.... THIS GAME DOESN'T HAVE A STORY nor did it EVER have a story....horrowhip

yep.... the people who already own the game all agree the game is a solid, deep RPG experience. It is repetative, and it is cliche but the combat is solid and the character building is the deepest in YEARS. There are bugs, but they will get fixed and overall, the game is a great AA game IMO. I will be severely disappointed if Gamespot underrates it like IGN did... Just read some of the comments... The review was horid and it's obvious to see that....

Diablo is still a great game but yes it is dated... Thing is, every reviewer besides PC Gamer FORGOT that... It's also a really deep RPG. Lots of character customization and lots to do. Infact, there are little easter eggs all over the game that you can try to find. Things like the TARDIS from Dr. Who, several movie characters, etc. Really overall, like I have said several times in this thread it is a good game but you need to understand going into it that it is a lot like Diablo and that is all it was ever intended to be.

Anyone who likes Diablo should at least give the game a try. A serious try of more than just 5 hours too... Because it takes a while to get your character development going.

Like what Doom 3 did? Anyway, trust me on this the game is sincerely a good game. Not a AAA game but a solid 8.0-8.5 game IMO.

Was released way to early honestly (6 months). Don't know if they are trying to pass of the MMO style update as you go, just get money now. How much they fix in by X-mas will be the decided on how long lived this game is. It has awesome potential but atm deserves a 6 (6.8 is pretty high imo).

If they fixed the most glaring issues(there are a ton though), you could get this in the 8 range easy.

I am having a lot of fun with the game, combat is really great imo. I think it deserves a 8.5 imo but we shall see what GS gives it. And if you have played the demo, you barely even know what the game is like btw.
