Hello Im a ps3 and im an xbox 360 out of the box

PS3 - So what are you going to do out of the box?

360 - Well, I have to upgrade the software, then go to the store and shell out $70 for xbox live and then shell an extra $25 for a point card so i can get bejewelled a 30mb title. Not to mention I have to spend hours setting up my XBl account, and gamertag.

PS3 - Wait, you gotta pay for online? Not to mention paying $25 for a game that costs like $5

360 - Yea they really confuse me with that whole point system

PS3 - Well isnt is straight up, $5 for a $5 game?

360 - No, I have to buy "points" in bulk

PS3 - Well, im going to set up a free network account through wifi, then pay straight up $20 for tekken 5, a 555mb game, then maybe watch a hd movie, set up any video camera and video chat with friends

360 - Well, I have to pay $100 for wifi, $200 for an hd dvd drive, buy microsofts video camera for $40 not to mention the games are only max 50mb

PS3 - well, sounds like you need some time, i'll be watching mi:3 on bluray.

I have Live, I love it, will gladly shell out 60 bucks a year for it, but like the VC there is way too much price gouging.

Um, Live costs $50 for 13 months.  It's not $70.  You can buy points off of Live in smaller chunks for much cheaper than buying point cards.

You don't have to use the MS approved Wi-Fi adapter, you can use third party adapters that you can find for around $30 or even the original XBOX Wi-Fi adapter which is dirt cheap.  And Live Arcade titles can be up to 150mb.

And my own of course:

360-  Cool, can you play Hi-Def games out of the box????

PS3-  Nope, I only come with crappy composite cables so I have to shell out $ for component or HDMI cables.  Gyp!

360-  Well doesn't every single PS3 game have online implementation, unified friend lists & global achievements??  don't you get new demos & game content pretty much every single week?

PS3- No.  Sony didn't want a unified online structure, so a lot of developers are opting to not even include online play because they don't want to have to do all the legwork.  And rankings only update every hour or so instead of instantly.  And we hardly ever see demos or new game content, it's very lonely at the Playstation store.

PS3 - Well, all the games that have been released up until today have flopped horribly, so I think I will just cry in a corner until I get up the courage to kill myself.

The only thing I can think of is the movie downloads which work like a rental. After you initially begin watching the film you have 24 hours before it is automatically removed. Other than that all of the game demos, videos, gamer pics, arcade games, and television shows are yours forever, even if you delete them off of your hard drive. You can just re-download them later at no cost since they are tied to your Gamercard.
