Um, Live costs $50 for 13 months. It's not $70. You can buy points off of Live in smaller chunks for much cheaper than buying point cards.

360 - Well, I have to pay $100 for wifi, $200 for an hd dvd drive, buy microsofts video camera for $40 not to mention the games are only max 50mb

You don't have to use the MS approved Wi-Fi adapter, you can use third party adapters that you can find for around $30 or even the original XBOX Wi-Fi adapter which is dirt cheap. And Live Arcade titles can be up to 150mb.

And my own of course:

360- Cool, can you play Hi-Def games out of the box????

PS3- Nope, I only come with crappy composite cables so I have to shell out $ for component or HDMI cables. Gyp!

360- Well doesn't every single PS3 game have online implementation, unified friend lists & global achievements?? don't you get new demos & game content pretty much every single week?

PS3- No. Sony didn't want a unified online structure, so a lot of developers are opting to not even include online play because they don't want to have to do all the legwork. And rankings only update every hour or so instead of instantly. And we hardly ever see demos or new game content, it's very lonely at the Playstation store.

Ok since apparently people are dumb let me explain this. The reason Sony did not include Component cables with the system is because the majority of people that will be needing a component cable for their PS3 probably already have a component cable that they use with their PS2 and it is compeltely compatible with the PS3 so including it with the PS3 would be pointless.

Second an HDMI cable is an HDMI cable. It either works or it doesn't. You can go out and waste $50-$150 on an HDMI cable if you want, but as long as you get an HDMI cable from a well known company, such as Dayton or whoever you prefer, there shouldn't be a problem with quality. Like I said an HDMI cable either sends the signal or it doesn't. Electronics stores always mark up accessories an insane amount. For any kind of cable go to a online store like partexpress.com.

And a lemming buys 4 Multiplats a year and xbl at $290

You have lemmings getting one less game a year but a better online service and the superior version of multiplat games. You can have your 5 less quality games I'll take 4 better ones. When it comes to exclusives MS has always been on top of things with their online. So you RFOM the 1 online game is non-existant point.

HD tv's are selling like crazy, soon will be blu ray and then there is no stoping the ps3. and i would like to note, (though its one case) at my local best buy, tv's that have movie players hooked up to them are ALL bluray players!
