help! Xbox 360 or Playstation 3????

my friend was playing a blue ray movie on his PS3 but it would play a coloured pictured, it would only play it in black and white ?!?!welshcaza12

As you see i never said don't get a PS3 either i daid get 1 in mid to late 08.

But really the 360 is a MUST OWN SYSTEM. You surely don't want to miss out on the best maybe EVER game lineup this fall on 360, Not to mention all the 360 that are out now.

And there is ton of games planned for 08 don't sweat that at all.

Also if you like racing games the 360 OWNZ that also. PGR3 and PGR4 and Forza are freaking AMAZING and even more AMAZING to play on Xbox Live.

Let me just add this as a final thought both are good systems and if your a gamer you really want both. But the truth is that no matter what the 360 is a MUST OWN whereas the PS3 really is not.

So it makes sense to get the 360 because it's just freaking great. And get the PS3 in about a year or so.

The only reason Sony has games announced for next year is becuase most of these games was planned for this year and they all got pushed back due to need a lot longer to program for the game becuause so many developers have a lot of trouble making these games on PS3. This is FACT also and most PS3 fanboys will atest to it as FACT that PS3 continues game release setbacks into next year.

If you want to play games 360... If you want to talk about the potential... PS3. There is no reason to by a PS3 before FFXIII is released in mid 2009. Might as well play Gears of War (GOTY), Mass Efect, Bio Shock, Eternal Sonota, Too Human, Halo 3, Lost Odyssey.

The PS3 still does have software emulation and the majority of titles works on it. And the lsit gets extended with every firmware update, so I wouldn't worry about that.

PS3 is the way to go, Blu-ray games and movies/ Home/FREE ONLINE/Linux/ NO red ring!!!!!

As you can see we are getting MAD PS3 fanboys in here now begging you to buy there system becuase they know it is not that great and they want you to buy it so they feel better about there own choice.

Anyway the 360 is not nearly as unreliable as they claim it has some issues with some but it's not going to break in 6 months sure it could like anything but it's fine. Again just to be safe MS has extended the warrenty to 3 years for free. No no sweat.

And also don't listen that 360 has nothing for 08. This is far from the truth. It's that MS is focusing on promoting there games for this holiday because it is so great maybe the best EVER for a holiday season.

But trust me MS has plenty of game lined up for 08 And they will be heard of later towards the end of this year.

Lost Oddessy, Ninja Gaiden 2 WOW 2 big ones right there. So don't fall into the Sony fanboy trap of no games for 08 there is going to be PLENTY of games for 08 on 360. They are just mad that this will be 3 holidays in a row that 360 DESTROYS Sony.

So listen the 360 is a spectacular choice.

Yes Microsoft did extend their warranty but they also have a huge backlog of 360s that need fixing, took a friend 2 months to get his (he phoned and complained and got free swag though). Lost Oddessy is set for a Q4 2007 launch and very little is evenknown about Ninja Gaiden 2, who knows when it will be released. Unreal is better then any game coming to the 360 this holiday season.

Actually, last time around I liked Xbox a lot more than my PS2. I sorta bought a PS3 thinking it'd be like my Xbox was last time. The extra time it had after the launch of the first system was time to make sure it would be more powerful than the first system out. Every game last time around was much clearer and visually impressive on Xbox. I bought PS3 thinking it would play out the same this time around. It hasn't as of yet, but looking at games coming makes me think it's not a possibility.

The PS3 still does have software emulation and the majority of titles works on it. And the lsit gets extended with every firmware update, so I wouldn't worry about that.

Why? We europeans are dealing with software emulation since launch here, and all the PS2 games I have are running without issues. Sure there are exceptions, but the get fixed. It works, so why worry?

Both consoles are awesome, no matter what any cow or lem may say.

Just take your time, do some research on what they have to offer and make a choice based of what you want, not off the advice of some kid on a message board who's only played one of the two.
