I love how every day there is a new thread where cow fanboys are going "here's why ps4 sells more" and starts off with 'more powerful hardware" and at that point i always stop reading.

Has no games. booooring.

And then you think to yourself "Hey, I'll just post in this thread so show how uninterested I am in it".

Basically

-It's $100 less

-Microsoft has been getting negative press from their anti consumer policies and their support for the 360 was week in the later years

It's more about what the competition's doing wrong than what Sony's doing right. They got a standing ovation at last E3 for announcing they aren't doing anything.

Did it even sell out where it launched? I only hear stories of it piling up now. Hope MS pulls out.

There have been dozens of Xbox Ones in stock at every store I've gone to for the last few months. Target, Fred Meyer, Best Buy, Toys R Us, Costco, Frys, they all have an overabundance of stock. Meanwhile, PS4 is nowhere to be found in any of these stores. I picked up my PS4 at Best Buy and got their last one about a month ago, I got extremely lucky.

What I'm curious about is if Microsoft's sales numbers for Xbox One are units shipped or actually units sold. If it's units shipped, I'd say half of those are even sold.

Xbox will need to drop to 399 if titanfall doesn't meet their sales expectations

i think its the fact your getting a more powerful console for less money. how much more powerful doesnt really matter...its more powerful than the X1 and it costs less. unlike the PS3 (which was an almighty screw up) sony have played an absolute blinder with the PS4s hardware and strategy. its biggest poblem at the moment is games but its just launched...the post launch blues should be over by the end of the year.

kinect is not a system seller. its like the wiiu gamepad...no one cares. so they dont see the point in spending that extra 100 quid on the X1 just like they dont see the point in saving money and getting a wiiu.

if i was MS though i wouldn't be too concerned yet. focus on that exclusive and timed exclusive content for the big games, focus on live and i think the X1 should continue to pick up. i would only be concerned if a lot of people stopped their live subscription (and i dont think that will happen in any major way between gens).

i am surprised MS have not adopted the phone business model though. X1 for half the current price and a 5 year contract with xbox live (with a higher rate than the standard live fee). there would be a short terms loss but all those new subs would be gold dust.
