It seems the vsync here is the same crap used in many games like ass creed black flag for instance(where many complained getting locked 30fps on 60hz monitors). Your fps sits on 60 and all is well, then your fps drops to 59 and boom you get to 30fps then it gets back to 60fps

Vsync is still the biggest beef I have with UWP, not only does it make gsync worthless but vsync in general is poop(adaptive vsync to a lesser degree)

edit: forgot to mention that it's double buffer vsync that causes the instant drop to 30 when you drop to 59 from 60

Heh not even PC can save this flop. GTX 980TI, 16Gigs of ram and a monster CPU are required for Ultra bit it still looks just as bad as the $250 Xbox version.

MS has said they are going to remove Vsync and fix most other complaints about the windows 10 store full PC games.

What an underwhelming difference. That temporal reconstruction technique seems to be a big **** you to PC gamers, since the PC version looks as blurry as the Xbone version.

Compare this to other Remedy games, which are usually excellent ports and much better than the console versions and it's easy to conclude that Microsoft pressure is to blame. It seems like Remedy almost had to plead with them for a PC release and the conditions ending up being Windows store only and parity with the Xbox version. It's disgraceful really if that's the case and they'd be better off crowd funding their next project.

Nope, on gaf I've read cats using my card (970) playing the game on medium at 1080p struggling to get over 30 at times. Apparently the issues are UWP related and not necessarily the game or something.

One thing I love is having it cross platform with xbone and pc, but one thing i hate is making it for xbone, and just having it run exactly the same on PC. Waste of PC cycles in IMO. It's really not much different than streaming it from the xbone to PC.

ouch. I guess graphics king it is not, even for a multi plat.
